  1. I don't wanna say I called it but… I CALLED IT, MULTIPLE TIMES. Call me the Prophet of Iconic the way I'm predicting these storylines (they're actually extremely easy to predict for obvious reasons lol)

  2. Did anyone catch the brief "Finish the Fight" quote in the soundtrack as the plants are re-growing following Chiefs crash landing on the Halo? Why couldn't they have just hired Michael Salvatori and Marty O'Donnell to do the music? Those brief moments of actual Halo music actually make the show feel like Halo, at least for those few seconds.

  3. @2:10 I was initially disappointed with the voice as well. I see why they did the deception, it seemed like an ONI debrief at first and was meant to subvert expectations. However, as I thought about it more, I don't believe this is 343 GS nor is this Halo necessarily Installation 04. The final Monitor scene had the feel of a "Gauntlet" challenge between Makee and Chief being extended by the Monitor. Something 343 GS would be unlikely to do (as a Lifeworker made Monitor) but that has precedent in other Builder created Monitors/AI.

  4. It is beyone stupid that they give the Covenant weapons the time of day but just completely disregard pretty much all UNSC weapons.

It doesn't matter how much better the show starts to become, all the inconsistencies and nonsense like that makes it extremely difficult to actually be invested or immersed in this show like I'd very much like to be.

    Edit: typo

  5. I think that Kai is still alive and will be back in a season or two.
Keyes is also somehow still alive.
Parangosky will be used by the flood in many way.
Also gunna guess that Noble team is going to show up and help the chief

  6. So far I was pretty damn impressed that they actually did the flood. How the bodies literally transform like tentacles spewing out yeah. That was pretty good I mean it's not perfect but it was pretty good. Now the infection spores I'm not sure if we'll see plenty in the they seem to have to be able to go up someone's mouth and nose unlike the ones we seen the game that are bigger. I will say they pretty much do look the way that mostly humans when they turn into the flood I mean the tentacles don't happen right away as often in the show. But based on another video that was shown on this channel many years ago called flood cults. There was those that were infected by the parasite that didn't transform but still looked normal like what we're seeing right now. Pretty good way to actually show us the parasite and I think that's pretty much the only thing I like about the show besides everything just being complete trash

  7. The end with Halsey kind of reminds me of a premise I thought of for a Halo horror spin-off. I always kind of wanted to see what would happen if someone tried to make a Smart AI from the brain of someone infected with the flood. I know the Forerunners tried something like that and knew it didn't work, but I bet ONI doesn't know that. It could get a real System Shock vibe going on. Maybe in a facility where they try to bring back dead assets by infecting them, then making smart AIs with their brains? I don't have much beyond a premise. God I wish we could get more than one Halo game per century.

  8. I found the Flood in the show too similar to the fungus from The Last Of Us, on how they made the infected turn and act. Only difference would be they grew a limb on certain individuals.
The Flood from the games, that is spreads more like an intense inferno, just pure ruthless and unrelenting. Not just standing there in a normal human form, but twisting and turning them into some disgusting mockery of whatever they infect.
Hopefully the Flood will be more like the game, with just swarming as a wave, and using weapons

  9. you want it to be like the game, just play the game. You had a problem with the spark thing at the end of the show. Not because it was bad but because it didn’t line up with the game. The last two shows were incredible.

  10. Cant stand your takes. Just came back after unsubbing to see your take. Still just purist Halo die hard yapping. Same as usual. 00 has the juice rn, just lore and honest breakdowns

  11. Considering they almost condenced the whole Halo CE plotwist of discovering the flood in one episode, and that makee kinda alluded that the halo is for destroying everything, i think they will integrate season 3 with both halo ce and 2 storylines, mixing the evnts on alpha and delta halo, with a new arbiter and closing with halo 2 finale

  12. People need to stop fucking up making TV shows and movies about things that have already existing extensive lore, shit's infuriating.

You can just make what we read and play, into tv shows, no change necessary, often times we just want live adaptations of those things, NOT some dipshits "artistic" interpretation of it.
