Wands work well for bats, and you don't use up your arrows that way.
for plants, you need two layers of farm soil to get the plants to grow.
I have found that with the farm soil just placing with the build tool in large pieces is the best to prevent the disappearing plants. I just dig more up over at the farm site. Oh I slightly overlap each piece
I tested the farm soil over the top of road on my game and it did the same thing. Two segments of farm soil the one with more overlap with farm soil it happened on. The other that with less overlap still has the plants there for now. Also for other weirdness in the game I was having a very hard time with finding Amber. Even in spots I had found it before. Looks like I had a error with the nodules missing and just the flat texture.
Also something else interesting If you have a flame shrine near some buildings if you overlap your own blocks (a foundation) and recall your blocks the game will claim back all the blocks that were covered over. I do not know if you have to have unlocked the blocks in order to claim them though. You can get allot of blocks in very little time.

When I put my farm soil down, I do it the same way I do the foundations. Place a block of it to replace the ground. Haven't had an issue yet in 2 playthroughs. Melee build was my first. Adventurer, warrior and magic for water aura. With rested, had 4 wheels of stamina. So nice!!

And I managed came to the point where my world broke down last time and go forward. Now I making backup copies of my save files.
i respected my character away from the multi shot. goes through to many arrows. i like to shoot those blobs of shroud and its a waste when you fire 3 arrows at them. they hide stuff sometimes.
There is a water well in the shroud behind your house that you can use.
Spanj if you press X while placing seedlings, it will snap to grid, alot easier to place them.
Now that is one sick ass looking sword
Jump over the lightning traps with double jump and glide 🙂
Respec to get rid of multi-shot, eats up to many arrows… when you unlock the shroud arrows, they are the go-to arrows as they are AOE and will melt most bosses/enemies outside the shroud. You will be going on blue flower hunts for resource to make them.
