  1. people need to be honest, the game is a repetitive one trick pony, and that trick is a rolling in combat that's easily exploited. after this opening section the lack of polish in the game really starts to show. there are severe audio bugs where deacon repeats lines about objectives even after they are completed or says them at the wrong time. there are
multiple immersion breaking moments when starting missions because the scripted events never play out right. the camps are full of lifeless NPCs and main characters won't even react when standing in front of them. AI is terrible and the zombies are nothing to fear once you realize they have no real attacks other than waving their arms. you get surrounded you get stuck and your dead. the physics are pretty much broken so unless you ride your bike perfectly you will see just how bad they are. the game is not underrated it's rated perfectly for what it is. a lack lustre unpolished, half broken generic shooter with a empty open world snd little to no innovations.

  2. "The greatest zombie game ever" is a title only given to the greatest zombie game ever. left 4 dead 2. And that's a fact. Not a single game has even come close to the level of detail and modding that game has. Literally shits on days gone so hard it's not even a contest.

  3. i just came to comment NO. Game was fun zen game but the story was so distant and the world was so bland. A game with infinite possibility bogged down to the simplest features and play styles

  4. I'll have to partly disagree, as for me the best zombie games ever, were Resident Evil 1 and 2. BUT! As i said that's only my opinion, as i grew up playing those games and for years after those two games, i never played another decent zombie game, until i bought Days Gone. Yes, Days Gone managed to make me feel exactly like the first time i played Resident Evil, and that means it's a masterpiece of a zombie game.

  5. Days Gone on PC was the best ever. Took me 2 weeks after launch to beat it, what was a real game changer was using a trainer to skip the grinding and focus more on the story, side quests, and general exploring
