Ended where it all nearly began.
Thank you so much to the trio for giving us years and years of entertainment and brilliance.

  1. This was beautiful…. I enjoyed how much they made it feel like one of the old specials with their antics. Not the overblown stuff they do in most of GT, but just the little shenanigans ending in a beetle gettings its due, and this wonderful scene… The only improvement i think, is if they could have figured out how to be allowed to use Jessica.

  2. I just watch the ending tonight, i didn't want to, because then in my mind, theyd be still together. But i did and it was beautiful.

Specially when Clarkson unplug the mic, i don't know why the mute noise felt profound.

May said it perfectly, they did this for one third of their lives. And it brough alot of us happiness. Should they do another special in ten years? No, it ended perfectly.

And on that bombshell. its over.

  3. When Jezza unplugged his mic, and that sound it made marking the end, then just silence before the song kicks in. I guess you could say it brings a whole new meaning to "pulling the plug" on something. Thank you, Hammond, Jezza and May for all the laughs you've brought, and bringing us on the adventure of a lifetime. That is something we will never forget.

  7. I honestly cried during this scene. I was filled with such emotion, it felt like losing 3 of my best mates over a course of 22 years. These people were my childhood. From the start of they're career in Top Gear, to the end of their career in The Grand Tour. Now there's no more whacky adventures, no more "HAMMOND!" And no more Captain Slow. You made childhoods, chaps. And i thank you for the fond memories we made on the way.

  8. It’s like loosing your favourite chair, you don’t realise how much you’re going to miss it until it’s gone. I watched this show, like many of you I am sure, since its inception, it’s see my daughter born and my son, who is just as much a fan as I am now. I know all things have to come to an end,but it still leaves me hollow. It’s a chemistry that won’t be easily replicated, they shouldn’t work, but they just do. Many many thanks guys for the memories you were one of a kind.
