Spoilers for ALL!!
That being said, man I can’t wait for Made In Heaven’s anime adaptation. Despite Part 6 having a fairly tame anime thus far, I hope they’ve saved the best batch for last. What do you guys think of Part 6 so far? Personally, I think it’s been really stiff, relies a LOT on Araki’s panelling throughout, imo. Would love to hear your opinions below, though!
it isn't genius at all lol. the author makes bs up all the time.
Part 3 is supreme, with 1, 2, 6 being close ones. Part 4 was good but not that good, have yet to watch/read 5, 7, 8. Doubt they'll match the adventurous masculinity of part 3.
I think it's strange to call Kakyoin's death "an experiment in killing off a protagonist" when Jonathan dies in pt 1, and Caesar dies in pt 2
I'd argue those 2 characters are more central protagonists than Kakyoin is in pt 3
A the big lebowski reference (my favourite movie reference ever) in a jojo video? Earned my like in the intro alone.
Yare yare did someone say JoJo?
9 separate parts?
JoJo is one of the greatest series 🔥 🔥
It was an odd choice to not mention how Part 2 puts an emphasis on outsmarting the opponent rather than just overpowering or over-courage-ing them
Its the best manga
part 3 has no pacing problems
Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved..
This kind of just feels like analysis from the wiki worded slightly different and than voiced out loud,
Genius ? Only ? Bruh, JoJo is life !
One of the most overrated works imo
Trinston was here .
Anime channels run out of ideas and start making "The Genius of…" videos
Really great video! Really nice to see so much of Jojo history covered in one video!
My favorite part is when jojo said "it truly was a bizarre adventure"
Was decent up til part 3 then became completely nonsensical, repetitive, and boring. Never seen an anime fall off harder than this one did lol
“When you become truly bizarre you can’t jump the shark because the shark is the work of an anime stand user”
this some great content my guy
4:48 Ok this one is absolutely not true. Star Finger? Eye beams?
The thing that kept me from watching/reading were the fans, but i can say its now a favorite of mine (fans still annoying tho)
Stone Ocean is my favorite too. How do you rank parts?
I get f.v died and Diego wasn't much of a villain but could there have been a reboot dio for my part it's not jojo if there isn't a JOESTAR fighting a Brando, also if I had a kid would it be
Kira's or josefumi's?…holly shit I am the dio of my part
I have to commend this video for something that many many JoJo videos fail to do.
Focus on the series as a MANGA and not the anime.
Especially with the use of manga panels and artwork that far outshines anything in the anime adaption.
The anime is great and all but it's still a product that hinges on monetary incentives.
The vast majority of work on it is by people doing their jobs and just a handful of true fans.
The manga is nothing less than the passion child and true vision of one person.
I hope im still alive when jojo ends and all get animated
Although you could say that jojolion was just a re-make of part 4 just more adult friendly I'd disagree since it had lots of themes that were found in part 5 and maybe even 7 of a Mafia trying to obtain this new fruit. I personally really enjoyed it and it's my favorite part and it has some very good characters like jobin, Josuke, norisuke, mamezuku Rai and yasuho aswell as some really well written and impactful scenes like when josefumi was trying to save kiras life but at the end of the day it's all just jojo's and it's something you really fall in love with and cherish
I mean what’s real bizarre is the fact you get no bitches
Part 6 is your favorite? Truly a man of culture. Jolyne is my favorite JoJo.
I really, immensely enjoy Part 8's ending, precisely because it just, kinda, ends. It has this overpowering, crushing feeling of "what now?"
I've always understood that the universe from the end of part 6 is just the regular universe. Pucci died in the process of creating the new one, so it reverted back to the old one. The characters that died have different identities, but the same soul they had before. This is backed up by Pucci saying that the souls of the dead don't "pass over" to the new world. Pucci died in the new world, leaving behind his soul in the collapsing universe. great video BTW.
I discovered JoJo thanks to a classmate in school, back in late-2010 or around 2011. Yes, I was one of those lucky people that discovered JoJo before the anime. And back in those days JoJo only had very crummy fan translations.(Duwang)
Your video is well put together and edited. Keep it up. 🙂
JoJo was a great watch for me, finally caught up anime wise. But I have to say so far part 4 was my favorite. In fact I stayed up all night watching it because I enjoyed it so much. I fell in love with the entire series. So glad my Brother and Sister kept begging me to watch it.
I WANT TO WATCH THIS BUT I CANT BECAUSE SPOILERSSS

When did part 9 came out
"Is the video good"
"It has a Dude reference at the start"
"🤌"
While i want araki to be kind to himself with regards to overworking, he seems to have the status and wherewithall to afford himself that. Its really sad the way that manga is treated in japan and the culture of work constantly. But he takes breaks between parts and doesnt seem to give a shit how long his parts take which gives him time to wind down and also take in new culture and media to adapt and synthesize. But i hope he doesnt end it at 9. Id rather he continue jojos even if its bad rather than try to create something else. Like if he ends jojos with 9 and retires for good, great, but if he goes and does something else id likely be pretty sad.
well done
I love the fact araki does whatever the hell he wants. there's no doubt there's stress to the job, but also I think araki is a bit more free than other mangakas. he does what inspires him, not exactly what makes 100% sense. I think only he could come up with something like jojolion and have the balls to take the concept of "hey let's redo an earlier thing of mine but alchemy" and run with it. especially since araki has shown to really like part 4, I think he just wanted to revisit it and I'm so glad hes one of the only people that can do that and still make money
I would sepárate the trilogies like this, the trilogy (after all these 3 connects perfectly), the spinoffs and the alternate universe/weird trilogy
Idk why some people try to make part 5 3 and 5 like they're have an interesting "story" bc they don't literally probably the only 2 part that have no story or nothing there just there for the fights like dragon ball.
I would say spin and hamon are the same power system as they are explained within a similar way as a way to achieve a stand
Damn that trigun comment made me smile because at least someone acknowledges this underrated manga/anime :')
Tbh honest I actually didn’t like part 7 ending.
Spoiler
Johnny lost the race lost the corpse lost gyro and on top of that at the very end we find out it was all for nothing when the kid died. So part 7 ending isn’t my favorite but I still loved everything else up to that point
