  1. Spoilers for ALL!!
That being said, man I can’t wait for Made In Heaven’s anime adaptation. Despite Part 6 having a fairly tame anime thus far, I hope they’ve saved the best batch for last. What do you guys think of Part 6 so far? Personally, I think it’s been really stiff, relies a LOT on Araki’s panelling throughout, imo. Would love to hear your opinions below, though!

  2. Part 3 is supreme, with 1, 2, 6 being close ones. Part 4 was good but not that good, have yet to watch/read 5, 7, 8. Doubt they'll match the adventurous masculinity of part 3.

  3. I think it's strange to call Kakyoin's death "an experiment in killing off a protagonist" when Jonathan dies in pt 1, and Caesar dies in pt 2
I'd argue those 2 characters are more central protagonists than Kakyoin is in pt 3

  4. I get f.v died and Diego wasn't much of a villain but could there have been a reboot dio for my part it's not jojo if there isn't a JOESTAR fighting a Brando, also if I had a kid would it be
Kira's or josefumi's?…holly shit I am the dio of my part

  5. I have to commend this video for something that many many JoJo videos fail to do.
Focus on the series as a MANGA and not the anime.
Especially with the use of manga panels and artwork that far outshines anything in the anime adaption.
The anime is great and all but it's still a product that hinges on monetary incentives.
The vast majority of work on it is by people doing their jobs and just a handful of true fans.
The manga is nothing less than the passion child and true vision of one person.

  6. Although you could say that jojolion was just a re-make of part 4 just more adult friendly I'd disagree since it had lots of themes that were found in part 5 and maybe even 7 of a Mafia trying to obtain this new fruit. I personally really enjoyed it and it's my favorite part and it has some very good characters like jobin, Josuke, norisuke, mamezuku Rai and yasuho aswell as some really well written and impactful scenes like when josefumi was trying to save kiras life but at the end of the day it's all just jojo's and it's something you really fall in love with and cherish

  7. I've always understood that the universe from the end of part 6 is just the regular universe. Pucci died in the process of creating the new one, so it reverted back to the old one. The characters that died have different identities, but the same soul they had before. This is backed up by Pucci saying that the souls of the dead don't "pass over" to the new world. Pucci died in the new world, leaving behind his soul in the collapsing universe. great video BTW.

  8. I discovered JoJo thanks to a classmate in school, back in late-2010 or around 2011. Yes, I was one of those lucky people that discovered JoJo before the anime. And back in those days JoJo only had very crummy fan translations.(Duwang)

Your video is well put together and edited. Keep it up. 🙂

  9. JoJo was a great watch for me, finally caught up anime wise. But I have to say so far part 4 was my favorite. In fact I stayed up all night watching it because I enjoyed it so much. I fell in love with the entire series. So glad my Brother and Sister kept begging me to watch it.

  10. While i want araki to be kind to himself with regards to overworking, he seems to have the status and wherewithall to afford himself that. Its really sad the way that manga is treated in japan and the culture of work constantly. But he takes breaks between parts and doesnt seem to give a shit how long his parts take which gives him time to wind down and also take in new culture and media to adapt and synthesize. But i hope he doesnt end it at 9. Id rather he continue jojos even if its bad rather than try to create something else. Like if he ends jojos with 9 and retires for good, great, but if he goes and does something else id likely be pretty sad.

  11. I love the fact araki does whatever the hell he wants. there's no doubt there's stress to the job, but also I think araki is a bit more free than other mangakas. he does what inspires him, not exactly what makes 100% sense. I think only he could come up with something like jojolion and have the balls to take the concept of "hey let's redo an earlier thing of mine but alchemy" and run with it. especially since araki has shown to really like part 4, I think he just wanted to revisit it and I'm so glad hes one of the only people that can do that and still make money

  12. Idk why some people try to make part 5 3 and 5 like they're have an interesting "story" bc they don't literally probably the only 2 part that have no story or nothing there just there for the fights like dragon ball.

  13. Tbh honest I actually didn’t like part 7 ending.

    Spoiler

Johnny lost the race lost the corpse lost gyro and on top of that at the very end we find out it was all for nothing when the kid died. So part 7 ending isn’t my favorite but I still loved everything else up to that point
