  1. Since everyone's love for Flute Guy, some general information about him

His name is Pedro Eustache, he's Venezuelan.
He invented more than 500 wind instruments and play all of them + the traditionals.
He did the fluty solos in Narnia, The Passion of the Christ, Pitares of the Caribbean, Dune, etc…

PD. I find very funny that nobody cares about Timothe Chalomet being there or any other celebrity, but about him! Nice

  2. When Baldur's Gate 3's Main Theme came up I literally shed a tear. I know this sounds too corny, but hearing the theme once again after countless hours of playing the game made me feel like I became part of that journey.

  3. A pretty weak medley this year imo. The rythmic pattern set at the beginning forces itself into the melodies, playing like background noice during baldurs gates and marios segments in particular. In previous years, segments like marios where allowed to change the rythm and do something jazzy, here all themes are tied together to rigidly.

  4. I cried when GOWR's theme played last year and BG3 and TOTK this year 😭 the impact that playing these games has left on me and THOUSAND of people all over the world in countless countries, languages, cultures, ages, and backgrounds is incredible. games are truly one of the best forms of media/art/entertainment to exist.

  5. When I first heard the flute in the TOTK theme, I got excited at the idea of flute guy playing the song in the GOTY medley this year. I'm so happy he delivered and absolutely nailed the song.

  6. As a Nintendo fanboy who doesn’t have anything else, I wanted TOTK or Wonder to win (and I’d be ok with Spider-Man 2 bc I also played that). Even if none of those three won, they did them justice in the orchestra
