  1. Amazing. What a great list of deckbuilders. I loved the variety in subgenres and I like to see how they are applying different kind of deckbuilding mechanics or applying the same mechanics to other genres that are not about fighting (like citybuilding).
The "dicebuilding" is getting strong, and the games are looking really cool.
From the ones on the list, I tried the demo of Zoeti (I liked the poker addition to deckbuilders), Spellrogue (basically Slay the Spire with dices), Jupiter Moons (just great), Rails & Catacombs, Astrea (just beautiful), Hellcard (great game and best of all it has co-op), Rungore (frentic and fun) and Wildfrost (I totally agree with the 1st place here).

You probably also know these titles, but if you don't you should also check out Death Roads: Tournament, Cardterrupters, Out of Hands (i don't know if it qualifies as deckbuilder, but it does have the tag on steam) and Dungeon Drafters.

  2. MOMODORA 8/10 -> short game, LUNA KNIGHTS 8/10 -> (No played), ENDER LILIES 8.5/10 -> the gameplay is a little problem, WAKAMELE 7/10 -> I don't like too much, HOLLOW KNIGHT 9.5/10 -> My favorite game in the history, RABI RIBI 9/10 -> Epic bosses and music, [I don't now], Bloodstained 8/10 -> (No played), Blasphemous 8.5/10 -> (No played)

  3. Like someone else already said, I admire your efforts in finding games although belonging to the same subgenre yet different somehow, I think different mechanics, art styles and themes add a different feeling to a game so one does not feel like playing the same thing again and again
#5 this game just mushed like 4 genre in one, kudos to the devs, that's an example that indies always explore uncharted lands and are always willing to go the extra mile, that's what makes them so unique, Respect
Thanks Clemmy for the wonderful video ✨

  4. Thanks so much Clemmy for showcasing our game!! (Star★Vaders).

I've always loved discovering new games from your videos (both to play and for inspiration!), so super excited to see our game on one of your lists!!

Deckbuilders might feel overdone but there's totally a resurgence with all these new upcoming games evolving in different directions with wild genre combinations. Will be so fun to witness and be a part of!

  5. I played the demo for wildfrost and absolutely loved it. It's made it's way into my wishlist and will surely an insta buy.
They allow you to chose between different characters (3) and those are not always the same (3) ones but are randomized : you get three choices takent from the pool of all the heroes they created.
Another aspect of the game I like are the unlockables. It encourages me to play again and try different ways of playing and goals to achieve.

  6. Hey Clemmy, I got this really cool game on steam recently called “seal of sins”. I don’t know how I even found it, but it’s kinda like risk of rain. It took me a while to set up the controls because I can’t play with mouse/keys, but I highly suggest you check it out. Also, if you played “Betrayer: curse of the spine” yet, it’s one of the best metroidvania games, but really hard because it doesn’t tell you what to do… I’m stuck near the end of the game, and there’s only one walkthrough on YouTube, but it’s a different version of what I have. Later dude

  7. So many newcomers!!! This is one of my favorite genres. Sadly, due to the new suggested prices of games in my country, currently games cost between 4x and 5x what they used too, so I'll have to wait for reviews before buying anything u.u

  8. Thanks for making the video!

Side note, I don't know why I've never seen the game dawncaster in any video of this style. If you like the genre, it's also quite good and super under appreciated for some reason 🤷🏻‍♂️
