  1. Love this! Again I didn’t realize you could dual wield staves for mage . I remember you said frost mage could rock a shield as well and I thought that might be interesting, but I definitely want to see about getting to staves now .

I’ll definitely be running a frost knight next tho. Maybe frost knight dark urge 😉👍

  2. If instead of 1 War Cleric you go 1 Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer in White Dragon you get Amour of Agathys and upcast it as a level 4 spell so that you get Arcane Ward + 20 (iirc) temporary hit points and deal 20 unavoidable cold damage to whoever hits you. And it's until long rest.

I think it's thematically more appealing and possibly functional, especially if you keep up the ward by casting abjuration spells and save those temp hit points (which lets you continue dealing the cold damage on hit received).

  3. I like this. Really good. My favorite part is this knight can swap to lightning knight on demand. I never thought of using an EK for a wet party. Great concept.
Only thing I'd change is drop the cleric level and go conjuration wizard for the water and pick up benign transposition at wiz6. I get the abjuration choice. I think abjuration is great for a robe-wearing wizard. With heavy armor (and heavy armor mastery), it's just not necessary in my opinion. Really cool, though. I think you landed the perfect EK/wiz build. 3 feats and same amount of spell slots if you go with the cleric or conj school for water.

  4. definitely get a lot more of both offense and defense synergy out of 1 level of white dragon sorcerer, picking Armor of Agathys and Shield, especially with Abjuration Wizard. watching a wet target slap himself for 50-60 cold damage while you take 0 is hilarious.

  5. I like that build. That was what i was looking for my run with gale. I wish, there would be more cold based weapons or ways to deal more cold/frost dmg with a weapon. 26:42…i hate this interaction with doors, when you try to "aim" through em..

  6. Good build but you should defo use the Intellect band (from the Ogre) to have 17 INT earlier than you go Wizard, and not butcher your DEX and WIS
    didn't realize than EK6 C1 W6 was caster level 9 (EK are 1/3 casters)
