  1. I have some work to do, because i resonated with the lover, the warrior and the sadist. I don't think you're supposed to resonate with the shadow, and i have been guilty of cruelty toward people who don't meet my expectations in the past. Good video, though.

  2. In America and the West news media, Hollywood, the universities, and the Democratic Party are all actively demonizing men, especially white men.

Nobody cares about men’s issues. But now women want me to care about their issue, abortion.

Women are encouraged to do whatever they want out of “empowerment” but men must control their impulses.

My entire life women have at best ignored me, and the few who have paid me any attention took advantage of me.

And now they want my help? Not until I feel like men’s issues are a priority. And I’m not the only one! What goes around comes around.

  3. The word "Shakti" is a synonym for Force. Also, Shakti is the name of the Goddess and your description is pretty accurate.

Shiva, however, along with all the things you described, is a symbol of patience. Because, he is one of the few Gods, who is typically shown in a meditation position (which is the best) With a third eye on his forehead and a cobra curled around his neck.

Shiva is also the part of Hinduism's holy trinity: Shiva the destroyer. His 3rd eye is supposed to have destructive powers like Superman's laser vision. But, I think Shiva's identity as a "destroyers" is highly misunderstood.

According certain reads. Shiva represents the duality of man, Shiva has done is Shadow work. And Shiva is aware that if we are unhappy then we spread unhappiness around (which is destructive), therefore we need to look inside of us (much like Buddha, but he was a monk, Shiva represents everyday man)… Meditation is the key to look inside, and realise that the world isn't good or bad, it is our response to it that makes us perceive that way. The world is indifferent. Therefore we must learn to be equanimous.

The snake around his neck tells us that, he is fearless, and calm, even at the face of death. Shiva is a warrior.

Because it is better to be a warrior in a garden than to be a gardener in a war.

And, the 3rd eye is actually, the eye of wisdom, like someone really seeing beyond.

  4. I suspect, with the rise of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, commercial fusion, and synthetic biology, that the mature masculine essence will no longer be required – desired perhaps, in a mediated sort of way, with no real visceral connection to nature, but not required. I could be wrong, but my sense tells me otherwise 🙂

Could the future be female? If so, how do you feel about that? Could this also be an invitation for all genders to embrace androgyny?

  5. Jesus is the slave/servant king the highest archetype

Imagine a king that has everything and essentially willingly goes into slavery to see if there’s any other leader worthy of serving and finding no one worthy. Strongest narrative ever

  6. No one is evolving 😅If women are prolonged in maidenhood due to modern careers/feminism/pill etc and men are in one of these immature masculine due to lack of transcendence into manhood. We’re just a stagnant bunch, pointing blaming society problems on the other. I hear and see it, women trying to be feminine and blaming men for their lack of masculinity and men trying to be masculine but blaming women for their lack of femininity. Everyone’s waiting for the other to improve not realising it’s an inside job

  7. I haven’t read this work in particular, but these 4 archetypes of masculinity are a recurring theme I’ve noticed throughout my personal reading journey. In particular, these ideas from these works in particular:

    Jung’s theory of archetypes

Master Morality from Genealogy of morals

The spirit of the thing itself in musashi’s book of five rings

    Alan Watt’s the book

The fact that this is so prevalent in
The underground man in dostoevsky’s notes from underground

All three of the brothers from the brothers karamazov

The fact that these masculine archetypes are so prevalent in so many different works just goes to show how intrinsic the masculine essence is to the human condition. Our culture is predominantly anti-masculinity in its moral compass, and I think a lot of problems are prevalent because of this severe lack of balance of strong men

  8. I am the impotent lover: Although, it wasn’t an abusive family, it was a cross country move for my dad’s job. I’ve had no friends or girlfriends for the past 15 years.

Despite making a lot of progress in my psychological development, I still can’t connect with others. Whenever I attempt to express myself and engage with others, I feel a surge of sadness that I can’t get rid of.

I guess that not having any serious relationships has seriously messed me up, but I can’t imagine it ever getting better. I suppose I’ll just have to keep suffering in silence for the rest of my life.

  9. Now young men have fewer and fewer role models to even understand their potential. A destructured bonobo style society has been forced on what had been a more structured chimpanzee society. Odd sexual identities are now glorified. Woman can live off their only fans accounts, leaving men in their world of loneliness and hopelessness, addicted to the need to disappear inside a woman to escape their existential suffering. Sexual soothing abounds to plaster over the cracks of a disrupted maternal early childhood relationship with toxic anger a guardian of this pain. Limited information is presented about the psychic trauma underpinning behavior particularly in males,
locking in immature wounded roles usually without insight or curiosity or self reflection.
The damage is immense and getting worse, supported by radical feminist self interest to continue to keep men in their sex addicted immature roles.
Men are now dominant in all the bad statistics in what is still deemed to be a "misogynist" society!
Motherhood is the ultimate answer. If this is done right in a mature respectful relationship long term relationship both men and woman can thrve .
