  1. In regards to diet have you seen an increase in cancer risk with the increase in processed foods? Such as aspartame, high fructose corn syrup, food coloring…..

  3. Diagnosed with a slower developing leukemia (CLL) 9 months ago. Wish I could get an edge how to keep it from advancing as much as possibly. I have always had a healthy lifestyle. Searching for the most optimal diet. Any recommendations?

  4. Processed food manufacturers need to hear from consumers that less ADDED chemicals, sugar, oil and salt is wanted in their food products.
Why is there so much ADDED sugar in everything, even bread. That's just crazy
Email, text, tweet or phone your favorite producer of poison and let them know consumers want less salt, oils and sugars in their products.
Let their customer service department know that all the extra added salt, oil and sugar is not necessary or desired and is causing health issues.
Reduce or eliminate highly processed food from your diet if you can.

  5. What I don’t understand is he talks about how you should never over nutrition which is bad matabolically and he also talks about putting more muscle mass as soon as possible since thats your currency and it stats depleting once uou are over 30 and this requires you to be in a calarie surplus and thats the difference between theoretically talking about it and practically implementing it.

  6. You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
Lower stress, reduce obesity, get enough sleep and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community

  7. Completely false understanding of the pathophysiology of atherosclerosis.
    1. No endothelium damage required – it's about transcytosis
    2. No trapping in the intima required – LDL particles are simply gulped down by macrophages
    3. No oxidation required – the gulping down is a passive unregulated process
    4. The role of inflammation is simply in the acceleration of transcytosis.

Overall, complete bullshit. Go plant-based, this will save your life.

  8. There is an agent to better manage endothelial inflammation and that is low dose colchicine. Review the Lo-Do-Co studies. Maybe low dose colchicine should be a primary preventive therapeutic in high risk individuals.

  9. It's likely that research or clinical trials were conducted with people who represent only 16% of the world population. Q: Are these findings specific to North American population (i.e., USA and Canada)?

  10. Thanks for the insight on atherosclerosis.
In one of Chris Williamson's podcast this year, a female guest mentioned that Omega-3 supplementation can have a positive effect on longevity with an effect size equal to the negative effects of smoking one pack a day.
I'd love to hear your input on this.

  11. Stage 4 cancer survival rate the same as 50 years ago doesn't say much for all the research being done by the American Cancer Society. Then there's the term there's no money in a cure part. Treatments make the money…

  12. Peter fails to mention processed meat as a class A carcinogen, and red meat as a probable carcinogen (Group 2A) to humans, there is strong evidence that eating too much red meat increases the risk of bowel cancer.
