@2:26:40 he said "im doomed" as a reference to Doom 3 — you couldnt have your gun and flashlight active at the same time so there were lots of super dark rooms that you had to fight in and could only really see with your gunfire.
I enjoyed the story a whole lot and the fact that it was a native american protagonist as well as an interesting alien abduction story I was all for it and hooked from the start.
"my life is here, my job is here" as she gets immediately distressed from being yet again, harassed by the local drunk men at said job.

This game was actually in development hell for 11 years. It started development in 1995, got cancelled in 97, rebooted in 98, and re-rebooted in 2001, before finally coming out in 2006
