Cold cases can take detectives years to solve, yet neither the Nassau nor Suffolk police departments have staffed cold-case units in recent years. “You need people who are dedicated,” a law enforcement expert said. “These are long-term cases. These are not easy cases. If they were easy, they would’ve been solved.”

I keep getting the impression that this is,maybe not all, but mostly connected. Gilgo Beach included, and it's been going on for a long time. Somewhere there are police involved, if not prosecutors, and there is a group working together. Time will tell. The light is coming.
There's no reason for most to be unidentified. We have the power to give them names with genetic genealogy. It also shouldn't take a woman being a wife, mother, etc.. It should be because they are humans who deserve respect and justice.
Did the LI PD kill most of these women?
This could be a generational family of serial killers that happen to live in the different areas/counties all across Long Island. 8 Million people live there. 40% of the entire population of New York State. If it hasn't been cross-referenced yet, they should consider taking a look at all the birthdates of each of these women, and then all the approximate death dates of each as well, to see if there's a correlation with how close or far apart the number of days were between their DOB (not year) and their DOD (not year). Just the month and day. For example, if one of the women was born on March 18 and their date of death was June 21, that's 100 days. If the date of death was December 8, that's also 100 days. If there's something to it, there could be a numbers game at play. Therefore, if it's an old Long Island family, you have to look at all of their histories, family tree, occupations, education and current status. It's a long shot, but it's an idea to consider. What if it's a family of mathematical nut cases that hate each other and it's some insane form of competition because of their crazy upbringing ? Just thoughts.
Have you ever heard of Dr. Teleka Patrick? Interesting case. Would you please look into it? Something doesn't seem right
RIP.
THANK you for shining a light on these cases. It's sad that they don't seem to have the resources nor empathy for the survivors. They all deserved answers, justice.
😢 The country is sick. It's hard to find joy in our society.
Horrific on so many levels.
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️ I pray for justice for all 100 cases and more
Krazy… there is a God tho..I pray these women get their justice in spirit. There has to be a price to pay.. there has to be!
Women need to protect themselves
They never found Selena
Y'all are going to give back what you stole too and you're going to be held accountable for being involved in the Freemason Illuminati Epstein Network the same group responsible for most of those deaths.
They need to check all wanna be boyfriends, boyfriends, husbands and weirdos in surrounding areas. Dig up evidence and process it. What are they waiting for?
This is 2 or three women per year.
Useless police. Start raising your sons, too. High chance the killer(s) is a male.

FYI: when I was younger, my friends and I hung out on Long Island ALOT. There are a lot of open and very deserted places on Long Island, especially near those extended areas near the many beaches (like Jones and Gilgo). It was sooo creepy even in daylight if one missed the turning for the beach entrance. I understand there are actually cameras up now all along these stretches now but they were not there in the 80s and 90s when my friends and I went to the beaches and discos. I am sure Rex H plus a few others like him are to blame for a significant portion of these poor victims.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Rex Heuermann is most likely responsible for many of these women. It is sickening to think.
That's 50 years
2 women a year ….
