  1. This kind of makes me feel special that he has at-the-least shared convos with me. BUT, yes, he will not do interviews.. said he might one day, but also said when he does, it "won't be with your (me) ass" lol – He is still upset with me about some comments at Chili Bowl a few years ago.. so when your video was titled "You don't talk about Paul Silva".. I sort of got the memo on that in more than one way. I did find it fun however, when it was Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva last year and you saw "Paul vs. Silva" across the socials and on billboards etc in the PHX, AZ region.. the same area where Larson just moved.. #symbolism – To one up the 4 and 6 .. you have to go to the 5 and 7.. #GoCole

  2. Not taking anything away from Paul… but Larson has wins in 7 divisions, and a NASCAR title. Silva had nothing to do with those. Shane Stewart didn't win much in the car… It's Larson. Now having said that… I think they perfectly compliment each other. If they ever split, neither will find what they have together, right now. IMO

  4. Paul is a true genius im always trying to look up info on him and can never find any at theres post that say he works for works motorsports that has the same looking 57, which was odd but there isnt any info crazy how such a popular and winning guy just goes unnoticed and under the radar i feel he could walk into any track across the country through general admission and not a single person would recognize or acknowledge him if he wasnt wearing a larson shirt.

  5. I think that Paul Silva has a lot of courage to do what he’s doing. He’s bucking the norm, taking the path less traveled, and it works! Also, it takes a lot of courage sometimes to not say anything. It’s human nature in many cases to blow your mouth off. Silva does not. Great example of how less is more. Great show!

  6. Hi Justin: I agree with some of the other comments; Mr Silva is the modern day K. Kinser for sure. But when Mark had that mopar sprint humming it was tough to beat. Sure would like to see Mark and Kyle go head to head!

  7. Silva 57 is is cemented in history as an iconic car. For sure.

I went ahead and got reserved tickets for the dirt classic with your promo code then I got to thinking…… who in the posse is really worth watching currently? Last year watching Marks, Macri, Dietrich, Dewease on the track together was worth the price of admission. Now those teams are all blown up ….. or suck. Little Freddy is the man currently but that's about it.

  8. On the topic of Silva using used tires I wonder if Larson's experience running longer races helps in that department since he has more experience making tires last other than that one Pocono race.

  10. The man just wants some privacy. In this digital age where information spreads quicker than wildfire, any sort of information that gets out will harm you these days. Whether that be liking a meme that you thought was funny, or getting on podcasts and interviews talking about how you won so much this particular year. Anything that gets out can and will hurt you sometime in the future.

  11. I went to the side door of the trailer at an outlaw show. Paul was sitting on the floor looking at his note book. He looks up and said Kyle’s up front. I said i know i wanted a photo with you. He took the photo with me.

  12. Paul Will pick up the used tires you threw away, and put them on a car with an engine thats got twice as many races as the next guy. And they are going to quietly take everyone to school and leave with the W. He even built his own wings at one time. There is not another Paul Silva.

  13. Paul Silva is obviously an introvert, and there's nothing wrong with that. He's fortunate in that he can run his own program and not have to kiss up to corporate honchos! The few sponsors he has are okay with that, and that's great. It sure seems to work!

  14. I just learned today that Kyle Larson rented a ride with Brent Kaeding shortly after he started racing sprint cars. Everyone seems to be in agreement that Brent Kaeding had the best sprint car program on the west coast at the time. Sounds like his career didn't take off until then. Also read that when he started racing sprint cars he was mentored by the local hotdog. Which probably was paid for as well. That's what racers point out about a major issue in racing today. Unless you have the funding to get in top notch equipment with the best crew available at an early stage of your career, you're always playing catch up to those that had that jump start in their careers. Never having to deal with the stress or pressure of funding your racing operation or having to be hands on with the preparation of your car (which takes alot of your focus off driving) is a major advantage that 99% of racecar drivers will never have the opportunity to have. If your parents are willing to spend enough money you don't have to spend years going through the school of hard knocks learning everything the hard way. Just hire people to skip that part.
