  1. What a delight it has been working on this lore video! I hope you enjoy it! Thanks to all of you who helped me bring it to life and to all Patrons and Youtube channel members that make these videos possible! There are many things to say regarding this particular episode.

Let's start by saying that this is only a brief lore overview of the Drop Site Massacre and the events that happened on Isstvan V. There are many details that have been left out, like the fight between Lorgar and Corvus Corax in the middle of the madness, the intervention of Konrad Curze, the role titans played in the battle of the Urgall Depression, the aftermath with how Rogal Dorn takes the dire news of the massacre and immediately gives orders to Sigismund, the details of the Isstvan III atrocity and so on… I could go on and on and a full deep dive episode would be waaay more than the 41 minutes of this overview video. These are all details that we can explore in the future tho! If you like the idea. Also, feel free to let me know if you think we got a detail wrong. With a universe as complex as WH40k and covering an event as big as the drop site massacre, there’s always a possibility to miss something.

On another note, I'm very happy with how the ship we built turned out! That animated background will serve for many episodes to come as we explore more of the 41st millennium. Thanks to the support of our Patrons and YT channel members we were able to commission the ship and upgrade how we tell stories.

Also, the team did an excellent job for this one. Skrubasauras did an awesome narration and I love how he portrays emotion into each sequence/scene, bringing it to life. Brother Captain Sawl helped a lot with the research and writing of the script, adding his helping hand in a lot of segments and covering the most important aspects of what happened in Isstvan V. Adam and Audrey with their amazing voices as support cast, adding more immersion to the sections that needed it. I'm glad to have around me creative people that share the same passion for this very chaotic and interesting universe that is Warhammer 40k.

Last but not least, I’d like to thank you for watching. I’m looking forward to reading your feedback and learn how we can improve for future videos. Feel free to suggest topics that we could cover! Many of the ideas/topics we cover on the channel are precisely from suggestions like yours! Again, thank you for watching! We’ll see you on the next one!

  2. Loved listening to this! Brilliantly narrated. I would love to hear more about the broken legions in continuation. Corax's resort to old gene seed tech that formed his army of monsters to seek revenge before destroying them and casting himself into the eye of terror to hunt Lorgar
    The iron hands reforged resolve
The salamanders rising back up from the Fires of Istvaan V

  3. Yes.. Yes.. Fuck YES!!!

Most certainly enjoyed this first episode.. 1st time viewer & I gotta say, I wasn't expecting much when I opened it, but the video was stellar! Audio & visual presentation were spectacular. Swiftly earned my subscription even tho u only got few 40k content compared to fantasy.
Was gonna suggest it be made into a series, but watching till the end showed you already on top of that 👍

  4. I would suggest Terra, and all it's history, including the Rebellion of the Men of Iron and the Age of Strife, right before the Emperor had begging the Unification Wars.

  5. i have a genuine question:
why do we hold so much animosity for the treachery at Isstvan 3, and the brutal civil conflict on Isstvan 5, but not the Siege of Terra?
my wager would be; a sort of justice was served on Terra, but Isstvan was nothing but a horrific waste of life.
