Literally the 5th most powerful creature in the game. (not counting Infinity Elemental and B.F.M. Also tied with Emrakul 2 and some mutant beast thing nobody plays.)
I love you video when you post you make me so happy 💕☺️.
The first time it happened to me. I felt like I was hoodwinked possibly even bamboozled. 😢
You forgot Temur battlerage
I remember this tournament! It was like GP Vancouver or something and it just took down the entire GP
"I can't be losing, I'm winning!"
Makes me remember my M11 pre-release. Semi final of top 8.
Opponent, still at 20 life, Playing RW, has a few small creatures and a Sun Titan equipped with Sword of Vengeance.
My side was empty and he had me at ~5 life.
On my turn, top deck and cast Act of Treason on the Sun Titan, swing, getting Volcanic Strength from my graveyard, mountain walk over for 10 dmg then Fling it for the last 10 dmg.
It was the most satisfying "WFT just happened" I've ever did.
Why did he play the 1st one?
That, "Huh?" after that 11 attack hit me in my soul. Hard.
Loooool
"I can't be losing I'm winning" Literally my thought the first time I ever played against Death's Shadow
🗿
Id like to take the juicebox :))
Actually that was me like when the foil was 2.99 a piece. Still got em. Magic players are very slow.
"Well, you've looked at my hand more than I have, so I'll take your word for it." Is definitely a line I'm gonna be using.
😂 I love deaths shadow for this reason
And there are cards that let you get 13 13 on it to just need to not lose at zero life
moron/moron lol
If this channel gets 40MIL subscribers tomorrow it will still be underrated
Remy's too funny man haha
Swords to plowshares being plaguewind against deaths shadows will always be funny to me
Some ideas
“First person to brainstorm fetch”
“First person to realize necropotence was good”
“First person to realize Oko was good”
“Person who figured out lantern control”
I absolutely love these skits so much
PoV: you didn’t need hp to win anyways
Suicide Black has always been one of the more interesting game plans.
I've never played magic, but many other card games and putting a card in your deck that only gets good when you're losing seems like a mistake, when you can include cards that just make you win more. Unless it's easy to damage yourself quickly and the game is slow enough that finish off someone on low health isn't super easy, which might be the case since defending is a thing in Magic right?
I love game theory like this, so real magic players please enlighten me
Remember when Death's Shadow got +1/+1 bonuses when you went into the negatives? I remember.
Thanks for showing me how good the card is. Going to put in all my black commander decks now
And that, folks, it's why Black is the best color in the pie.
<3
Honestly the 1 thing that always annoyed me the most and why I don’t miss quitting games like this is an opponent that narrates everything you do before you have a chance to declare it. It’s like… I know, it’s my deck, I know how it works, shut up and let me play my turn
Idea a parody of “two out of three ain’t bad” by meatloaf but make it 9/10 ain’t bad and make it all about card protectors and quality ratings
My favorite decks to play are control decks that give off the illusion that I'm losing.
Been a while since I've played magic, are there any skill drain style cards that could turn this into a vanilla 13/13?
Dude didn't draw a card, so why wouldn't he play Champion of the Perish on turn 1?
Looking at old magic first impressions is like witnessing a totally alien species’ thought process
I didn't realize this was a blood drive. Would you like a juice box ahahahahahaahaha
I use Death's Shadow in my Scavenge deck… It's not the best idea or deck, but I love the first reaction when I say "I pay one mana and exile DS to put 13 +1/+1 counters on X creature."
so um… i guess i have to google what death's shadow does
wait if you got negative life would it add to the card?
Deaths shadows just most unique decks out there 🗿
"I can't be losing, I'm winning!"
I like faeries with deaths shadow. Bitterblossom shocks and fetches with thoughtsize and dismember
