Dragon Quest Treasures is looking pretty good! If you don’t know, it’s essentially a Monster Taming spinoff of the Dragon Quest series, not to be mistaken with Dragon Quest Monsters, or even some of the earlier Dragon Quest Titles. Either way, looking pretty dope and I’m super excited to pick it up in December!

No direct control of the monsters in combat kinda kills this for me tbh. I wish I could forget everything about ni no kuni 1 and play it all over again man..
I'm working on something similar but you have a bit more control of your creatures…at least that's what I'm trying 😅
I like how the monsters fight, it feels a little similar to digimon world where in that game you could command them to be more aggressive or defensive then just let them autobattle
I really want a Dragon Quest builders 3 but the combat needs lots of work. Combat was horrible in 2.
I can't wait for this game and the OFFLINE version of DQX to come out in NA!!
Im a bit sad tbh. So theres no Synthesis anymore, where you combine 2 and the A-Rank to F-Rank Monster classification is gone now? If this is away as well as the turn-base unfortunately this kills Dragon Quest for me. I mean yeah thats Monster Joker thingys and not Treasures, but in my honest opinion the best features outside normal DQ
The beginning was definitely dragon quest monsters much haha. I wish we would get more dqm games and they come to the west. Im still excited for this game and will for sure be getting it. Also, the horn sounds are the level up sound.

I'm liking this quite a lot! The real-time battles look nice and the fact that your monster can help you get to virtually anywhere on the map is also awesome. I wonder how well it will run on Switch though…
Also, I did take a Japanese course, level A1.1, but that was almost five years ago so, yeah… Can't even remember hiragana any more.
The music is basically the same in every Dragon Quest game. Seems the composer refused to remix his music so they're always reused between every game with very few new tracks between games. I'm curious to know how the next games will be like in terms of music going forward since the composer passed away this year
It looks cool, i like the real time party dynamic like FF12. But i am not here to have grown ups making squeaking animal noises in my ear for 40 hours 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta see what that English localization sounds like. Makes me appreciation pokemon dial-up cries more. Lol
This is closer to what I played on my gameboy where you had monsters following you and you'd fight turn based pokemon style. This is so awesome.

Hey Ed! It was me who mentioned the gliding even tho u didn't say my name it was awesome to be mentioned in a video! Made my day tbh. And yes I also want to lear Japan 🤣 when I was younger I taught myself to read and write and hiragana and katakana but I forgot it and even though I can read it I didn't understand any of it 🤣. The main thing I'm worried about is how many monsters are going to be in the game DQMJ3 profession had over 500 but a quarter of them where reskins I just hope they have a lot in this game especially the cool dragon ones. And I think the pig with the hat is just called big hat but I'm going to get one in the game and name them wizard pig like you called him 🤣🤣. And there's a couple article out about the base that you saw in the beginning and about all the npcs in it so if you wanna check that out or even make a video about it. Any way thanks for the video Ed loves it and can't wait for the game
Some textures and assets in this game look quite better than many of Pokémon SV's… Just the grass looks ten times better…
Hmm was it not shown that you become a lord/lady so your getting treasure to rank up your castle. Got to get the mun hun. Than you have like 7 legendary treasure you have to get for main story.
