fun fact:
there is no accurate way to translate jinbei's name or his title.
his name has never had a single official spelling in the romanized alphabet, meaning that nobody knows if it's jinbei, jimbei, jinbe, jimbe, etc. meanwhile, his title as "first son of the sea" is literally translated but doesn't really carry the meaning of the title, something more accurate might be "sea mafioso", since his title is basically a yakuza term plus the word sea.

Just to let you know, this isn't a spoiler just information you kind of need, Shiki the Golden Lion who escaped from Impel Down is a movie-exclusive villain (Specifically Strong World). So he isn't really canon at all in the series but is also canon cause Oda added little tidbits like this. It was the first movie Oda worked on himself.
One Piece debaters generally put the movie Strong World as a non-canon event, but that Shiki is real cause he was hinted at in the canon manga universe. So it's a weird he's a "canon, but his interactions with the crew are not canon" character.
Simply put, they made him important in this episode, but he's not really important at all outside of his movie storyline.
