  9. By the way: Red is extremely good at staggering enemies by holding down square. And also his spinning ATB.

    Cloud can go in the air by dodging and then holding square.

    Tifa can combo in the air by first pressing R1 and then square.

  12. After finding XVI a bit on the easy side I was happy to actually feel like I was being challenged in this game. Not dissing XVI it was my game of the year, but it was just wasn't challenging enough.

  16. I pretty much played the whole demo as Red. He's really fun to play as.

    The end of Demo boss kicked my ass the first time I was not prepared for how hard it would be, my first attempt was Cloud, Aerith and Red, but by the time I got to the end of phase one everyone but cloud was dead, he had no ATB and about 400hp and then I just dropped dead.

    The second time went much better, I had Cloud with lightning elemental, Red had a level 2 Lightning materia with level up so he could cast thundaga, and Barret was on long-range attack and heal.

  22. Maybe he addresses this at some point in these streams but I am curious if Nico is going to skip these parts of game in his actual LP, since it's the demo content he's already played? I hope not because I prefer LP vids over stream content, but it would likely be odd to just replay that part already knowing everything about it? This is not any slight at Nico btw, I just don't gel with watching livestreamed content much outside of reacting to events. And for FF16 he played the demo as if it was the start of the LP itself.

  26. That boss kicked my ass! It just kept cancelling my attacks with that water bubble thing and grabbing. Red kept whiffing a lot too. That’s one fishy I’m not looking forward to fighting it again in the actual game.

  28. Can somebody explain something to me about ff7 story because I feel like I'm being Gaslight. I played Crisis Core as a kid so I may be misremembering stuff but is that game Canon because I remember Sephiroth was already crazy by the events of crisis core and fought Zack and Cloud but the flashback indicates that is when he first went insane in nibbleheim

  30. Honestly Nico, for your LP it'll probably be better to stick with Graphics mode

    I tried Performance on my end and it looked blurry on my TV(then again it's far more noticeable on a 4k TV), I'm perfectly fine with 30fps

  33. Thanks for uploading your Junon Demo reaction Nico! It was absolutely amazing and so much fun to play as each character and see what they can do in this game! I’m looking forward playing FF7 Rebirth with you and the SSLP in less than a week!
