1 time me and my friend were going to hunt the island and just 5 seconds after going into lvl 6 it spawned 3k metres away from tiki
I did it solo

Bro I found the island with my friends and then they disconnected so I soloed the island and I felt like flash while dashing😂
doing it solo may be hard but i did it twice 🙂
So I found something were every time I do it I usually always get the island most of the time, where it’s day, the levitation is off cooldown, there is going to be a full moon next night and I’m 5000m away from tiki, it works a lot for me and I find it a lot by doing that

You can actually do the prehistoric island with only two people but one has to equip spider (for the volcano part) while the other one equips buddha (defender of the relic)

4:40 the driver doesn't need to have the magnet, as long as one of the players in the boat has the magnet, it'll work

You can use dragon X to trap the npcs on the beach and just keep an eye on the volcano

when u split up to 5 people everyone should also have levithan crown so it increases chance and with volcano magnet which is very good to spawn it
I just searched for it for more than 1 hour, i found 3 mirage islands…..
Still no prehistoric island tho-
My luck is terrible
