The Fallout Dust Lore Series – FULL MOVIE

From the blood-stained sands of Cottonwood Cove to the lethal hellscape of Vegas, Fallout Dust is the answer to the question “What if the post-apocalypse had its own apocalypse?” Set 20 years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout Dust sees the horrific desolation that’s come to the Mojave, as familiar faces, factions, and friends are either dead or have been turned into horrifying facsimiles of their former selves.

This “Movie” is an edited-together video of my Fallout Dust Lore Series, edited to seamlessly transition from one episode to the next, giving you the best, uninterrupted, and definitive Fallout Dust Lore experience. This movie and subsequent series are meant to be a standalone series dedicated to covering the story of the Fallout: New Vegas mod DUST Survival Simulator as well as a tribute series hoping to pay homage to ShoddyCast’s original Storyteller Lore Series.

This project is entirely a fan-made creation and is not associated with Shoddycast or any of the original creators of their lore series.

  1. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! Great job and great homage to Shoddy. Can’t imagine how much work this was, but thanks for such an awesome video. Looking forward to hopefully more if you do!

  2. So the NCR was spread extremely thin and didn't have troops or funding to spare during the events of New Vegas. But when they lose the dam, it gives them just enough budget and manpower to take over the Mojave and start major experiments with dangerous unknown chemicals on Mojave Residents? They even had enough manpower to push a thumb down on free side???

  3. The Divide is about 270 miles away from Zion national park. How does the "long dark" exist, a tunnel that runs from one end to the other? I highly doubt the Sorrows/Dead Horses walked from Zion to the divide, got attacked by the dust walkers, then walked back through the tunnel to Zion to find it collapsed.

  4. While its not technically canon, i do wonder if you'd be interested in doing an addition of this talking about the Dust Expansion Project. Its huge, and vastly undocumented right now, but it opens locations and characters and expanded lore from all over that blows my mind to find on the regular.

Favorite rn is Old World Blues, but I'm still working my way to the other DLCs. The Divide door is open from the Mojave!

  7. This video has big "shoddycast storyteller" vibes and I totaly resprct it. The ending makes this esprcially obvious.
I've wanted yo know more of Dust's lore for a while and this was a fantastic way to find out.
    Great job dude!

  8. I think the best thing of this is how this CAN MAYBE PROBABLY NOT fit into the main timeline of fallout. Fallout 4 is only 6 years after and you could explain the Radiation storms in Nv with the Radiation sand storms that came from the divide in dust. Idk I just would like a fallout 4 dust.

  9. Very strong Storyteller vibes off this one and thats very much a compliment! I've missed this format of lore content since they stopped doing it on ShoddyCast. Keep at this mate! You've got the storytelling chops and the voicework for this kinda thing, keep it up! ^^

  10. Extremely well produced and narrated – although I have to wonder about the story of the mod itself. I never thought of the Cloud as a bio-weapon or something that could spread like an infectious strain. And why did the NCR go from neglectful and careless to outright genocidal? A lot of the stories seem to be about how people went mad and evil. I kind of don't buy the premises.

  11. I'm not the biggest fan of the Dust mod's story, even though it's fascinating, but it's just tok horrible for me to allow to exist on my copy of New Vegas. Lol.
The parts about the Divide were my favorite. Reminded me a lot of Fallout 1 & 2
