“🎸 Prepare to be blown away as I share my incredible experience of witnessing Greta Van Fleet live in person for the very first time! 🤯 In this review, I’ll be delving into the mesmerizing performance of their hit song ‘The Falling Sky’ and the unforgettable moments that made this concert an absolute epic.
🔥 The swagger of the main riff in ‘The Falling Sky’ was nothing short of impeccable, setting the stage for an electrifying show. Despite battling bronchitis, Josh’s vocals were utterly mind-blowing, proving that he’s a true rock ‘n’ roll powerhouse! And let’s not forget that stellar harmonica solo that added a unique touch to the performance.
🎸 Jake’s solo was not just mind-blowing but ‘tasty AF’ – his guitar skills are simply off the charts! The chemistry between the band members was palpable, and it translated into a fantastic performance that left the audience in awe.
💥 The pyrotechnics added that extra layer of excitement, creating the perfect ambiance to kick off the show with a bang! This is the kind of live performance that reminds us why Greta Van Fleet is a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock music.

Yaaay ❤
They are amazing 🥰 I can’t believe he was preforming with bronchitis!
What did you think of the orchestral overture that played before the curtain fell? I really enjoyed that and thought it was so creative. And then that moment the curtain dropped was like taking a breath before the intense energy of the show. I appreciated that moment more the 2nd show (I saw them two days apart) because I knew what was coming. Every part of my body was sore because I grooved pretty much the entire time.
Josh said he had a cold at the prior show (in MN) and I felt as though you could hear it in his tone. Amazing that he powers through and still sounds amazing.
On point reaction! Wondering if you could feel the heat from fire in the pit. We were in the first section in front of the catwalk in Saint Paul and the heat was quite intense with the flames. Still loved it though !
Can't believe Josh had bronchitis! He sounded great!
i saw them on august 5th and they were AMAZING! they all have such good charisma and i loved the stage presence
Love the lead up to the curtain drop with the orchestration of the album and I do enjoy the curtain drop itself with the band posing with arms raised to their adoring fans. It’s a display of supreme confidence and, to a certain extent, a show of defiance to their many critics in the world of so-called music journalism. They are the best melodic rock band in the business today.
Could not hear the guitars at all, but I loved it anyway
I think they pump something in the air ducts that make is such a euphoric experience.. just kidding, it’s pure talent and charisma 💕
Also, Sammy!! What a superb talented musician Love him. 😊
I love Greta Van Fleet and I have seen then numerous times. I have to agree with you about the opening. I think it's awkward how they just stand there like, "Look at us. We're here. Applaud". Other than that, they are amazing, but they must start playing immediately after the curtain drops.
Might just be me but I think the way they come out is an ode to the Anthem of the Peaceful army album cover art. If you notice the top of it, that’s how they look coming out on this tour.
I've seen GVF three times now and the most recent show last weekend in St. Paul was amazing. They just get better and better. I actually like the opening pause.
You are wonderful for spending this much time for us. Thankyou so much.
Fire.
Lots of fire.
your audio during the live feed was amazing.
On their Dreams in Gold tour, they started in playing as soon as or even before the curtain dropped, but I think the person who mentioned the pose being similar to the album cover art for Anthem of the Peaceful Army may be right. Either way, I’m having a hard time waiting for the Philly show!
Starting the show with a bang!
