  1. Considering the current market conditions and the increasing demand for e-commerce and cross-border trade, Air Zimbabwe should explore the potential of expanding its cargo services to capitalize on this lucrative opportunity. By leveraging its existing network and infrastructure, Air Zimbabwe could offer same-day delivery of goods from major regional hubs like South Africa and Kenya to Zimbabwe, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction and convenience. Additionally, Air Zimbabwe could establish strategic partnerships with local courier services, such as Zim Post, to extend its reach and provide door-to-door delivery services across the country. This integrated approach would not only cater to the growing demand for e-commerce fulfillment but also address the needs of the Zimbabwean diaspora, who often face challenges in sending goods back home. By prioritizing cargo services and developing innovative solutions, Air Zimbabwe can position itself as a key player in the regional logistics landscape, fostering economic growth and contributing to the development of Zimbabwe's digital economy.

  2. Air Zim should just shut down. At this point, not having a national airline is a better deal. Besides, we're now already used to all other airlines, e.g., Fastjet, Emirates, Qatar and Kenya Airways etc. We've also greatly welcomed FlySAFair.

  3. King. I’m drawn to your closing statement “entire system needs an overhaul “. Money is what is plaguing our industry, all of it. Without a core structure that we all abide to in our respective contributions, we will continue to chase the wind. I imagine a unified approach between government and corporate (private and public) without political bias. Issue ndeyemari and without policies that Corporate can identify with “Government” wouldn’t generate sustainable revenue to effect significant influence in any sector or industry. We can fantasize on new CEO etcetera but you don’t cure a cancer ne bandage. Our myriad of issues require a centralized approach that we all feed into.
