So that's 3 devs that have publicly said new player models and a new armor/weapon system is high on their wishlist. How do we make this happen?! Could we possibly finally get cloaks/hoods? That has to be one of the oldest unfulfilled player requests left in the game. People were asking for them in beta!

once the new nostalgic server thing wears off the single players who dont want to raid are gone for good. there is nothing for non raiders in the current EQ.
I remember GenCon as being held in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. I mean, that's the source of the name. I see now that it moved to Indiana in 2003.
I have to work on saturday =(. Will Fippy Fest be recorded to watch later? Classical Era and Golden Era were one and the same to me! PoP, LoY, and LDoN were still good though.
sheesh. I have over 60k followers on tiktok and talk about everquest all the time and they won't give me the time of day.
Pretty neat this community is active after all these years. My experience with Everquest is a few month blip long ago, but the lore, development and community of it stills interests me.

Timeline on Netflix is both right and wrong. As a business entity, it started in 1997, but that was AFTER EQ started development.
They started their website and sending out DVDs in 1998, so that was before EQ.
