  1. FAQ because im a very important person

“some of these song choices were bad!” im aware, i didn’t want to show brad only music I thought he would like

“why didn’t you include x artist?” this stream was already over four hours long

“why didn’t you chose spring day for BTS?” i’ve shown brad spring day and he hated it

“why didn’t you chose haru haru for bigbang?” i probably should’ve

“why did you spend so much time discussing controversies in kpop?” kpop is a deeply flawed genre and culture and it’d be a great disservice to those who have been wronged by it to not include criticisms

“what headphones are you using?” airpod pros :sob:

  2. eclipse was written/produced by charli taft and daniel obi klein and I highly recommend checking out everything else they've worked on!! the songs they produced for red velvet (automatic, cool hot sweet love, time slip, look, perfect 10) are some of their best work. they've also released a full album under charli taft's name not long ago

  3. How do you bring up the Bigbangs scandal but not other groups?? And you were wrong in some of your parts. Top didn’t leave because of marijuana. His marijuana scandal was in 2017!!! And no the members did not know what Seungri did. You’re chat also is so lame like what’s the point in lying about that?

  4. I buy one, maybe two if there's different versions, of each BTS album. I definitely don't throw them out. They're on my shelf. Pride of place. Stan culture can be extreme, but let's remember that there are plenty of fans who aren't wasteful or overly obsessed. BTS' fan demographic in particular is older. We have more disposable income, but we're also planning for our futures and not going to drop $1,000 on buying multiple albums simply for the sake of getting a photo card of our favorite member. I've got a Roth IRA I'd much rather invest that money in. I can support BTS in other ways, like streams.

  5. I don't feel insane for thinking bigbang is pretty terrible music wise, thank you. I swear kpop stans have been trying to brainwash me to like them there's nothing there to like 😭😭

  6. The stuff shown about Seungri sound like it came from a Koreaboo article, who is known for not being a legit news site.

Big Bang is my ult group so when everything came out I followed legit news programs and shows, including all court documents that came out. I waited for things to be translated correctly from professional translators who worked in professional companies. I know I will probably get hate for what I'm going to write and will probably not be 100% correct as I was not actually there in person but here goes nothing.

Everything that was apart of the Burning Sun scandal actually went further than most people think. Seungri was never apart of management at Burning Sun, he was only a club promoter. The CEO of Burning Sun has the same legal name as Seungri, so the news in South Korea used Seungri's name to help blow up views and as a bi-product people believe Seungri was apart of it.

The so called "whistle blower" has claimed that there was sexual assault at the club, which is true. However, multiple girls has accused him of sexual assault.

Everyone was confused about the group chats is because there were multiple group chats going around. The one mentioned in the video was not related to Burning Sun.

The group chat ,related to Burning Sun, that has been going around from the journalist who discovered everything has been proven false and was made up. They confirmed this because some of the timings shown in the group chat was during a Big Bang concert. Big Bang was literally in the middle of a song when some of the things Seungri "said" were sent.

The only reason he was found guilty was because the judge at the time "felt" he was guilty. He was never allowed to show his evidence in court. His witnesses were not allowed to speak on his behalf. He tried to appeal at every turn but they never allowed him. Til the end he denied everything except for gambling and a violation of food sanction act charge until the very end. Which he pleaded guilty because he was originally sentenced for 3 years.

The judge in trial was promoted after everything went down. So even that played into the judge finding him guilty.

Seungri had witnesses from some of the girls who were in the sex ring that wanted to speak on his behalf. No one in South Korea has ever accused Seungri of sexual assault.

Every new charge he got was because the prosecution "felt" like he did it. There is a whole thing in South Korea about how the prosecution has a 99.99% conviction rate due to corruption at every level of government.

As well has Seungri being the scapecoat because there was another scandal at a very popular preforming art high school and one about a serial murder case involving CEOs and government officials.

Mind you everything I wrote was maybe about 12% of everything that went down. It's very hard to really know the truth.

If you want to continue looking into things please do. Do I like Seungri the same way as I used too, no. I just hate that everyone claims him to be this horrible human that has done so much bad in the world. I think he has done questionable things, yes, just like everyone in the world. Big Bang has been in my life since I was 12 I'm currently 27 so of course I'm going to be bias about them.

  7. What launched K-Pop’s popularity in the west was PSI’s “Gangnam Style.” To this day, Gangnam Style’s music video is one of the highest viewed music videos on YouTube, and it’s an iconic staple of the early 2010’s.

  8. Still hearing the negativity around bts' english songs when talking about their new music is disappointing. We're in 2023 now. BTS have released LOTS of new music since 2021. They've started their solo era with 4/7 members releasing albums, 6/7 releasing singles and collaborations too. Why are y'all still taking digs at them for 2020- 2021 releases?

  9. If you want to listen to good Korean music here are the two best ones.
B-Free – Korean Dream (2014) (Modern Boom Bap)
    B-Free – FREETHEBEAST (2020) (Memphis Rap)
XXX – LANGUAGE (2018) (Experimental Rap)

  10. One of my favorite things about BTS and their pre debut songs, they made cover songs of huge artists at the time. Around 2012, RM (Leader) released a track called "Vote or Just Shut Up" is a cover of Power by Kanye West. They also made a song called "School of Tears", a cover of Kendrick Lamar's song "Swimming Pools". Later on, they released "Graduation Song", a cover song from Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg "Young, Wild & Free". They also did a cover of Mariah Carey's song Beautiful.
    (Sorry for english errors)

  11. I sadly don't think I could ever support a genre that supports damaging the environment, horrible fan interactions, and exploitation of musicians to this extent. There are musicians who end up killing themselves thanks to this life style that a lot of them sign up for as children. I can't listen to the music without thinking about it. It's horrible.

  12. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THE NCT SLANDER!! lol but for real, I know NCT's "noise music" isn't for everyone, but they do have some certified bangers (Cherry Bomb, Super Human, Baby don't stop, Boss, and a lot of smooth R&B ironically), and I do appreciate that they can be a little unpredictable and try some wacky stuff, it seems a lot of people (execs) are afraid to get out of their comfort zone nowadays, and this may be the reason a lot of kpop feels so westernized. And a lot of the groups shown here also have their wacky moments or phases, for example I think Bad Boy is not a defining track for Red Velvet, people who enjoy their discography know that while there are glorious R&B, there's also weirdness and some fun nonsense (see Rookie and Zimzalabim), so a bit unfair to judge NCT just based on that, just saying. I'm not mad, I just wish Brad could give them a chance one day lol (Edit: typo)

  13. That was such an unfair chance you gave to Stray kids by picking a title track that's, purposefully, inaccessible/noisy to most people who aren't fans, since that was the whole concept of the album
I hope brad gives their music a real chance by listening to a full project 🙂
