It was a pleasure writing this one, David. It turned out great!
You forgot Monkey D Luffy
But tis a sad tale unless told in goofy pirate voice. arrr
I thought this was going to be a video about the history of Western governance. Same difference…
Kinda sad u didnt do modern day
Well do e on the storytelling…
This was grrrate!
So glad YouTube is finally recommending great history channels. Only took google spying on me throughout community college to learn my interests…
One thing I really like about this video, and I don’t know if it was intentional, is that it sort of parallels the history portrayed in many of the Assassin’s Creed games.
Don't forget about Thomas chocrane
He was a crazy (in a goodway) mf
King George was not a Caucasian. The lies perpetrated by Anglos against swarthy people must cease.
These type videos are so underrated, honestly pretty interesting and better than most stuff out there
Wake up babe new history channel with insane content just dropped
Free enterprise is unscrupulous,
government agents bring true immorality.
Wait you didn’t even mention the worst pirate you’ve ever heard of! Captain Jack Sparrow!
The mwc says the judiciary body of the zealots say that the Cocaine in coca cola products are varied from the minimum at halal supermarkets compared to carrefour
there was no sucj thing as western piracy. There were individuals who were pirates
This was really interesting and well produced.
What's the name of this beautiful music that plays in the background during the Skillshare promo?
My niece, who just happens to be blonde and quite clever, said to me a few months ago `what do pirates say? do they say ee bah gum!` I nearly died laughing.
We owned everything, a gift to mankind. When most civilizations hadn't even invented the wheel we were building palaces of marble, developing philosophy, math and democracy.
This presentation is an experience richer & emotional than I have known. You Sir are gifted. I wish you more power & reward for you outstanding efforts..
Columbus never set foot on the American mainland, either North or South. And he was a "converso" a Jew that had to convert to Catholic religion under duress. If you can't get that right there is no point in watching this.
Seems you need to dig a bit deeper my friend. You cannot cover the topic of Pirates and not include the Moorish Armies who were expelled from Spain in 1642 and became some if the most feared pirates in the Mediterranean sea.
Outstanding as always! Eagerly awaiting the next installment from VOP!!
Amazing content
Another amazing story.
I love how this video totally disregard HUNDREDS of years of Spanish occupation in the west of North America.
37:45 i think it is hegemony like 'germinate' , and not heGuemony' like 'great' or 'grizzly'
Amazing video. I really appreciate the time this must of taken, really great video thank you!
What about our cousin, the Murderer, John Paul Jones, Father of the United States Navy. Does this keep him off the list? Our Eponymous Ancestor was Wolf Paul McTyre (some say Son of Tyre – The Devil), the 14 th Century Sutherlandshire Freebooter. Likely even Haakon Paulson of Icelandic Sagas Orkney Story. The other Earl of Orkney, Saint Magnus, unfortunately got the cook's meat cleaver between the eyes after making the mistake of bringing the arranged two ships to a meeting, instead of Our Man's seven.
You forgot the most active and successful privateers in Europe, the Dunkirkers
Where's Kaptein Sabeltann at?
This video sadly ends before the pirates currently active in the Bay of Guinea.
👍😊
Now do the brutal history of Asia please this was good
He
greatest channel
I hope one day we find out who the sea people were.
I know you guys must have put a ton of work into this, great job!
great
Road Pirates are the worst
The sea people where not pirates, they where refugees looking somewhere too settle in all likelihood
i usually get bored but the narrator kept me enthralled,,
