Someone willing to travel at light speed to another star system would never get to see their friends, family, or potentially earth, ever again. Every second to you could be a year on earth, that's the scariest thing I could ever think of. It almost brings a tear to my eye that someone will eventually have to commit to this endevour in the future, but that person will be the bravest human in existence.

On the first zombie show you made a common mistake. You think that zombies are a commentary on consumerism but who makes these movies and who are they? I think zombies in the 50’s were slow because the elites didn’t see the threat from the masses as great as it now is and that’s why zombies have become faster. If you watch zombie movies you see a theme. There’s always a group being overwhelmed by the zombies. Now while we all think we are the human group the reality is that this human group are the elites and we the 99% are the zombies trying to destroy their world. Think about it and you will understand.
As for the last clip I think it explains very well why we will NEVER colonize the galaxy or universe and why we will never have contact with Aliens. If we attempted this we ourselves would become the aliens we are trying to find. Let me know if anyone else agrees with my thoughts.
