  1. Idk if you ended up resetting or just proceeded from the end of this video, but I chose that I believed Toilen from the beginning, and then fake Rose cries a ruby tear, convincing you that you picked wrong, and the same events play out.

  2. You don't have a choice. No matter which option you pick the game plays out exactly the same. Honestly really disliked that about the story. Don't give me options if they're just there for decoration.

  3. This is the kind of ending I was worried the game was gonna reach before I knew anything and all story details were sparse on release, if the game was truly a prequel or an alternate tale or not. It's the latter (technically both) as I originally theorized as this phase of the story is set.

Hence I really gotta credit Toilen for probably being one of the greatest best friend characters in any franchise for how we barely know him, (blame Psaro being a silent protag for some Almighty forsaken reason) and yet he literally REACHES THROUGH TIME to save us from such a horrible fate. That's a keeper. A life partner even. Pocket Sand for the win!

  4. SPOILER if didn't watch the video yet

honestly this part of the game really was one of its best moments. Though, any that did their detective work would've remembered that if Rose could run, she have done so if it was that easy, even when she did escape, it didn't last very long, which makes me think she never get too far at any time she escape for a bit, the only reason she escaped at all was cause Psaro came to save the day. Another detail that some may forget is toilen during one story of the circle told her to be careful about crying cause if she did, she would shed ruby tears and he didn't want anyone to abuse her.

unfortunately yeah, the game has a back up plan in case you know this and pick his side by making the fake shed "fake" ruby tears in order to make Psaro believe Toilen is the one that is in the wrong.

Also yeah, you reach the point that no matter how OP the player believe they are, if you die just as quickly it don't matter, omni-heal is becoming more of a must at this stage of the game.

  5. This game suffers having to retread the story of DQ4.
    The Choices are meaningless.

Do you wish to relinquish your monster blood like your mother wanted?
I believe you are lying, the mother would not want me to be defenseless.
So you are planning to usurp the throne! You will lose anyway!
    Where did that come from?

Do you choose Toilen or Rose?
How about i follow Toilen and if it is a trap i kill everyone trying to trick me because i have a team of level 60 B rank monsters at this point.
You choose Toilen? PSYKE you actually choose Rose.

"I am afraid you choose poorly"
    motherf****

I will be following your let's play more closely because i will be skipping all story from now on. If i get stuck that means just more grinding until your videos catch up.
