  1. Congrats on getting rid of your eyesore neighbor. Should help property values. Thedore and Samantha say Hi. And they've lost the balls from BOTH turbo scratchers. Thedore woke me up yesterday by excitedly plopping a package of meaty sticks on my face.

  2. So glad the news was that you're getting new neighbors and thus new yard work for them, and not bad news for the cats and you and your folks. — hah, never would have thought of Casserole for a cat's name, but I could totally see that for a tortoiseshell. — Nice that they get the gates and slow reintegration. I hope everyone behaves. Love all of them. — — Oh, Sharon, those catnip refillable mats are a fantastic idea! Let's hope they like them. *Catnip toys like a carrot or banana or mouse always seem be a hit. A mat seems like a good idea.) —

  3. My kitty has really been enjoying being with me more lately, and for some reason, changing the bed and her carrier refresh has meant she has resumed sleeping curled up with me, and sometimes snoozing in the carrier as a cozy safe space. — No real change yet in my personal situation; lots of calls, very little has panned out yet, a few applications pending. I still do not know if I can keep an apt. (likely a move to a smaller one in the complex) or if I will end up elsewhere or have to lose everything and end up at a homeless shelter or something for who knows how long. I've spent time (so slow) getting rid of too much stuff, to hope to fit in a one bedroom apt. I hope I can keep Conchita, but called my vet and a neighbor to see if they could keep her for a few months or as long as needed. Nieghbro said yes, haven't heard back from the vtss/techs. I'm exhausted, anxious, but I am powering through it. Hoping Ithings will work out with support and income. — My cell phone and internet should be good through the end of the month, and elecriticty, but past that, likely off unless assistance comes through. So if I stop posting, it is because of that, and I hope for some chance to check back in, as Lucky Ferals is one of my favorite channels.

  4. Do what I have done when I was sick.
Put a really large doubled garbage bag under the sheets and bedding or a rubber sheet.
There have been times with other cats ( not mine now ) where previous cats would urinate on my bed.
My cats now just cough up hairballs that my automatic hairball detector always detects in the dark just AFTER I step on them & then have to clean them up.

  5. Bonjour LF .. nice to see all the cats and the nice gifts that you received. Sharon is very talented for sure. Poor babies it is so not fun for them all the work and big noise. When it will be all finish perhaps the cats will enjoy looking at what is going on next door LOL – Rosalind – P.s. no more animals coming in the backyard to try to find food, this will give you a break LF.

  6. Whew! From reading the comments, it wasn't just me who got a start from reading your tagline. …and then your usual intro didn't play! 😮 So, I guess there's been a collective sigh of relief that nothing bad has befallen you or your fur family! Be well.

  10. you should create a progress video for each kitten, highlighting the different stages and steps that have taken in the socialization progress. from being trapped and neutered to today.
