I have not heard any news about this game until now? But overall looking at it yeah it had alot of things going against it. It was essentially rivaling itself when it comes to player base and if p2w was true then yeah it was a death sentence. Gacha games can be still fun but it needs to have a good balance of fairness and enticement for players to spend money especially. Overall sucks to see a 3d yugioh game die

Between master duel and duel links this game didn’t stand a chance. Also the 4 way battle is a reference to the battle city arc in the anime when the top 4 played like this to determine the semi final draw

At Least It Didn't Suffer The Same Fate Yo-kai Puni Puni Did. Puni Gets Worse Every Update They Put Out. The Current State Of The Game Is Pretty Much A Pay 2 Win Gacha Mess.

I did not hear about this until now giving it a shot. That being said a lot of IP based gacha games have died very very quickly the past year or so. Almost everything boltrend made lasted about a year except Disgea which is still active as of today (I don’t follow mobile gaming news so no idea if it’s in jeopardy). They had a good portfolio of jrpgs that were mostly well made and not horribly predatory. Atelier and Arc the Lad were well done and Atelier has a big fan base to draw on for the audience and a huge cast of characters. Hell it was possible to get Ryza for free if you played enough the first week.

I've played Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links, Sonic Dash and Forces Speed Battle for multiple years and NEVER spent a cent on them yet am having a great time and have most of the characters in all three. No need to lump all the live service games under the same umbrella. Paying is for those who don't even want to play the game.
I've played master duel for over 7 months at this point and not spent anything. Very F2P friendly if you don't really want to hit top ranks. The dailys and events award alot of currency too. Anyone else here play?
