No more of this battlecruiser serving as a fast battleship nonsense. This is a true battleship, with no compromises! Well, aside from its massive size and cost… Also we finally get back to the crusade, as Spain reappears somehow.

Always fun seeing the old ships in action in the later game!
these costs are ballooning out of control
maybe we should get some super cruiser design with the modern cruiser II
Penetration is just too much in UAD. The US strongly believed the Iowas and South Dakotas were well protected against their 16 inch guns with just a 12 inch angled belt (about 14 inches actual protection)…
I was thinking that the next campaign should be themed as well, HALO maybe????
16:06 is there any chance of modding the ability to invade minors somehow?
Woah whats this a decent secondary armament on a munro design 😂😂 i must be dreaming
All jokes aside that a very nice BB design

SENSIBLE?! SENSABLE, HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETELTY MAD, HERETIC?!?!?!!?
AND THEN YOU HAVE THE GAUL TO CALL IT "EMPEROR" AND TO GIVE IT PUNY FIFTEEN INCH GUNS INSTEAD OF THE HOLY 20.9 INCH?!?
Bismarck was designed to carry 3,200 tons of fuel oil, but could store up to 6,400 tons of fuel in a normal configuration; with extra fuel bunkers, the fuel carried could be increased up to 7,400 tons. She lost 1000 tons (contaminated) by a hit from POW
Keep things sensible? My brother in the Imperium, you're role-playing a faction known for building giant flying cathedrals with massive guns that fly around space by tearing holes through space hell.
😍
Ah, the Delta-V rocket equation, battleship style!
I think for sure the next better ship should be either 12 15” guns or 8-9 17”+ guns
One reason to do superheavy 5.9" guns on destroyers is that they make short work of light cruisers.
They are expensive weight wise however.
Hey munro, I ran into an issue playing my campaign, I've made it to year 1945, and am paying nearly 30 billion a turn in transport costs. Is this something you can cover on how to avoid? I can't research, train new crew, or build new ships. I was not at war for 3 years after destroying Russia, and now I'm in another two wars that i cant peace out of. Have you ever run into this issue?
Ahhh…a true Battle Barge, good stuff.
They would have got built in real life if not for the 2 naval treaties heavy cruisers would weigh 30-40,000 tons as we saw later on with the Alaska class and planned Japanese B-65's etc when treaties were gone. Battleships would have got up or over 100,000 tons. The Royal after ww1 would have built 4 16.5 inch guns battlecruisers and 4 18 inch gun battleships U.S. south dakotas with 12 16 inch 50's etc. The Japanese would have built a yamato class in the 1920's etc.
In your Community post, i had suggested turning old pre-dreadnoughts, dreadnoughts, early battleships into "torpedo battleships." Heavily-armored (protection against 16" guns at optimal torpedo range), as many torpedo tubes as was reasonable (for killing battleships and breaking up formations), maximum torpedo reloads, reducing the main guns to a size that penetrates the maximum theoretical armor thickness of a heavy cruiser, and pushing for the highest possible speed…
Well, this is just what I needed to see
The Iowa's carried almost 9000T of fuel, soo 5k isnt too bad. might be hulls weigh too much?
100% need that t-shirt
“There is no such thing as too much overkill”
a lot of late era cruisers seem to always just use single main guns… its weird
7:36 The US had a Nuclear powered Merchant ship called the NS Savannah which was launched in 1959.
When you build your last super battleship. I believe it would be best to name it the Emperor of Mankind and name any of the others you make after his 18 sons.
What's the next nation you'll play
