  1. If you get double the money for betting on the right arena figher to win, how does the ticket seller get money?

    1. If more money is bet on the losing side, he earns money.
    2. If equal money, he earns nothing.
    3. if more money on the winning, he owes money.

Seems like a risky business model to me.

  2. I love that you're actually role-playing into all the game systems. I grew up on Oblivion, so I can't ever get the feeling of discovery back from the game whenever I decide to do a nostalgia run – since I already know all the mechanics. Watching you is a bit like vacriously re-discovering the game again.

  3. As amusing as it is to watch someone in 2022 try to wrap their head around the Oblivion leveling system, Id like to point out one major pressure release valve. If it gets too hard, lower the difficulty. Easy as that. Better than stressing over which skills you have to use to maximize levels. He’s kinda in trouble in the long run, anyways, by being a generalist.

  4. I beat Oblivion and all of its DLCs without ever understanding or worrying about this levelling system. Didn't even know it was a thing until now. So I'm not sure you need to stress about it too much.

  5. I love this game and this playthrough so much more than Skyrim. And I put 200 hours into Skyrim and never played Oblivion. I see why people want a remake. Jon you absolute star. Brilliant content.

  6. I don't know if Jon reads these comments but: the most important attribute in this game is endurance as it increases maximum HP per level and it does NOT work retroactively. If you take maximum endurance increase every level you will have more than 50% HP at level 10 compared to if you take it every other level and almost double compared to if you don't level it up at all

  7. Feather spells are from the Alteration school. Edgar Vautrine sells Ease Burden. (I'm assuming several of us have told you that…) It's one of the first ones my characters get.

  8. FYI Folks anyone considering buying TES IV shop around, its £15 on steam and I just got the deluxe edition for £4 easier than digging out my ancient original physical copy.
