The Eddie Howe DERBY? Special One Returns To Bournemouth As Newcastle Look To Stick The Knife In

On Saturday, AFC Bournemouth welcome Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in what is dubbed the “Eddie Howe Derby”. The match is a tale of two managers – one riding a successful wave with a club on the rise, the other, standing on the precipice with a loss being potentially fatal for his Bournemouth career.

In this preview, we’re joined by Cherries goal-scoring, history-making hero – Ted MacDougall – a man whose names adorns the South Stand – and someone who gives his honest thoughts about the current situation at Dean Court, as well as his candid views on Eddie’s REAL potential at Newcastle United.

We also speak to @AdamPearson1242 and get his thoughts ahead of the game, plus Tom Jordan gives us his team predictions too.

  3. I feel so privileged standing in the Ted Mac stand after listening to him on the pod. He speaks so much sense with the positivity he encourages, I will never boo the team no matter what the results. We need Ted to give a team talk before the game, so inspiring. Up the cherries 🍒🍒🍒

  4. I’d be surprised if Traore drops to the bench. I’d be disappointed if Billing starts ahead of Rothwell. Rothwell deserves a run of games. I’m tired of watching Billing disappear in games. It’s like playing with 10 men when he gives up the fight. He had a good first half last match to be fair, but when the chips are down he needs to either fight or be replaced early.

Hopefully Solanke is back, not the same team going forward without him.

Desperate for a win and it’s now or never. 2-1 to Cherries. Wilson bound to score.

C’mon lads, fight for it! UTCIAD

  6. Great to see Ted looking so well and so positive about the Cherry's. Ted was the best center forward I ever seen for the 🍒. The best goal he ever scored was a diving header against Aston Villa. Up the 🍒
