It’s spooky season so it’s time for some undead and some necromancy. That means this is a perfect time to play OvN: The Dread King Legions since I haven’t played it yet. We are also playing with the Necromancy mod, so anything that we kill, we can bring back to serve. So we will sweep through the ranks of the living, slaughter them all and grow are forces with their bones.

Undead greeks? I don't know what I was expecting, but this is better. I love greek mythology
Thank you😀 To do something – I suggest sending one army to conquer Lustria or directly to Kroq-Gar to see some bony Dino action
good video =) in your first siege you couldn't pull the 2 troops because they were in a group and the group was closed
The Dread King? As in the big bad from Warhammer: Dark Omen? 😃 oh wow didn’t know about the Dread King Mod! He was Nagash’s most devoted servant before his defeat, even to the point that Manfred Von Carstein served him. He gathers powerful undead to him through out the game (unless you defeat them in their particular battles). The Hand of Nagash, (a necromancer lord on chariot frozen in the northern wastes), Manfred von Carstein wielding the jewel of Morrsleib (a giant warp stone used to amp up necromantic power based in the east in Sylvania), the Black Grail (a group of resurrected Grail knights resurrected from the dead city of Mousilon) and the Dread King himself, a resurrected tomb king style Vampire who was so powerful it caused the Orcs of the bad lands to migrate north away from him…. At least that’s what he was in the original Dark Omen game, he seems much more defined and unique with this mod though… rather than just a generic vampire tomb king big bad…
Control groups are a little weird, probably cause you locked the control group and selected the entire control group, it's locking the formation
In the OVN lore (not sure if this is a retcon/fanfic or not) the Dread King is from Myrmidens, and has a landmark there if you go back. He's basically Warhammer Alexander the Great, conquered Nehekhara back when he was alive then joined Nagash when all the undead shenanigans started.
EDIT: Not sure if the necromancy mod will give you undead elephants, but the Dread King Legions mod has a unique mechanic that gives you free ones if you defeat elephant units in battle, that don't even count towards unit caps. So one thing you can do is babysit the Arabians and once they build up doomstacks attack them and get LOTS of free elephants
There must always be a dread king
Welcome to the GREEK BONE ZONE
have you tried the Radious modpack?
archers on the bone elephant do anything?
Hey the good old Dread King
