Damn this was nostalgic! I was a huge power miners fan back in the day and I particularly remember importing a second wave set from america to get my hands on it early before it was released in the UK. I don’t actually remember ever seeing that particular set in the UK and have no recollection of the third wave either. Such a shame it was discontinued so quickly.
I'd never heard of this theme before but wow those rock monster figures look so cool!
Mars mission, Atlantis, and other themes went with this really well.
I absolutely adore Lego Star Wars but there's something about non-licensed themes like Power Miners and Atlantis that I really loved as a kid
Power miners was my favorite as a kid and now I really wanna have every set
I'm very pleased to say I have every set in this series 👌 aswell as Pharoah's Quest and Atlantis.
These sets where my childhod
If you don't Rock and Stone, you ain't comin' home!
ngl, one problem i had, along with others that lived around where i grew up, was wave 2 and 3 packs were constantly missing a lot of parts. might have just been bad luck but it seemed to be a common thing
I remember this theme, Thanks to the Lego movie "Clutch Powers"
I only ever got one of the sets as a kid but I always loved it and wished they made more, along with more Space Police 3 sets. I really loved those lines and it was a shame they both went away so quickly.
I used to have this set and I still have some of the mini figs I wish they kept going with this series it was so much fun to build
I wanna get a copy of the Rock Raiders pc game again sometime
I remember owning some of these sets as well as a space police set unfortunately the sets have long since been disassembled I wish i kept it intact seeing as these are quite sought after nowadays
bro power miners is the only Lego series I ever liked
Bro I swear there is a Lego movie that featured a few power mine sets in the first few scenes
I absolutely loved PowerMiners, and still pick up the sets when I can. I think this is where I developed a love of the color lime green, which turns out to be a good color for this summer's wave of City sets–such as the grocery store and passenger train!
This is a great theme, however I feel that next knights also doesn’t get enough love
Yeah, no. Castle is LEGOs best theme.
well… I didn't hear about power miners probably because of the discontinuation, and because I was only a year old when the theme was released so the is the first time I've heard about it.
I loved this theme! I had the small robot and the long vehicle with the saws in the front
Rock rangers are better
I had alot of Power Miner sets and i really loved them as a kid, it was my favourite theme next to City
How could you make this Video without mentioning "Rock Raiders" at all? I am dissapointed.
I completely forgot about this lol.
How can we bring this theme back
I was always on the side of the rock monster because their designs are so cool and unique
The small normal monsters are in Lego worlds
Loved these sets
I had rock raiders as a kid. I would have definitely been into the theme if I was a kid at the time.
IMO their best theme is the Botanical collection.
I had lava tras and it was so so good
Alpha Team and Dino Attack are ones in similar vein that I miss.
There was a point in my childhood where I actually had every single Power Miners set. Still my favourite Lego theme of all time to this very day.
Dude, I got like all the sets for powerminers
i HATE rule of thirds…
i rly loved the Power Miners Theme. As a kid i had almost all of the first two waves and i loved them. It was so much fun to just drive around with those Sets. Best set in my opinion will always be the Big Drill mashine you mentioned.
I loved these sets when I was like 10 it was so cool
loved the rock raiders game
I loved power miners, the coolest sets of my childhood
I never relized what the rock monster was
I really miss galaxy squad and alien conquest. Those were like starship troopers and independence day themes. The robot sidekicks in galaxy were especially cool
the lil rock guys are the best, I had a light green one that was like my favorite figure, it's gone now tho
Pls bring it back Lego
I remember borrowing the instructions of the lava-base set from a friend just to build the vending machine on my own since i loved the concept xD
good ol‘ times back then…
I remember they had the Power Miners in LEGO Rock Band. Looking back, I would've loved these sets back in the day.
As an actual geologist, I feel obligated to say that rock monsters are real and pose one of the greatest threats to our society
When I was a kid, this theme was hands down my favorite along with Lego SW. I grabbed every set I could and made a point of collecting all the different rock monsters. LEGO showing off combining the different sets sold it the most for me in retrospect. It lead to many happy hours of building the wildest mining machines I could imagine when I got bored with the intended design. And best of all, my creation looked more or less at home in the theme. No randomly colored blocky abominations like many of my SW mocs at that age. You were given the means to build and expand upon the theme without any of your work looking like it was out of place.
I thought these sets were called lego clutch powers because o had seen an old movie where a character named like that used a hole bunch of the machines on the sets and faced some of these rock monsters
ROCK AND STONE!!!
