This is the best thing yo'u've done so far by a country mile, although the interludes could be better filled with Cleese .

Like most of the content on CB News… it’s totally different and much more balanced /nuanced than what is reported. This show, Free Speech Nation, Headliners etc …are all much funnier, more informative and better than anything you’ll get on BBC, ITV,Sky,C4 etc

Cleese got bored of leaving the country & living on a Caribbean island.
I was somewhat apprehensive at first but I found myself thoroughly enjoying this. What an interesting format.
Danielle's story was heartbreaking. I'm glad it was positively resolved in the end.
But I have to ask what on earth are these young women doing to themselves lately with the awful tattoos and duck lip cosmetic surgery?
I imagine she was perfectly attractive before she went down that road.
Poor thing.
The only good thing on GB news so far.
With Ai it will compound all of this. Voice prints, facial replacement, pretty soon they will have moles that look and sound exactly like their patsy/mark. Unpicking their ability to use their ‘celebrities’ as a plough to usher in a new kind of darkness into the political ‘mainstream’ will become and more more difficult to do. Especially if there’s more money at the opposite end of the equation than the truth.
And now for something…
Well there's a paradox. I genuinely watched that fearing the worst, but it was the most reasonable, sensible, engaging show I've seen on a British TV channel in years… on the least reasonable, sensible, engaging channel on the air.
For anybody not familiar with John Cleese… that really clunky line about a trans person falling off their bicycle being news is probably there by design. He's not the sort of person to unintentionally deliver a line like that in as mundane and unfunny a way possible.
Removing the word 'trans' from the sentence reduces it to an incredibly dull statement and I wouldn't mind betting he's hoping on doing a call-back to it in later shows. I suspect he may be planning on pointing out how much that single isolated line gets discussed, in comparison to the main content of the show.
The running gags about animals, taxidermy and COVID-19 denier Lewis Schaffer appearing but only if he keeps his mouth shut at all times… classic random, savage John Cleese.
The format would probably be better served by fewer guests and longer interviews, or a longer running time. Overall though, this show was a very pleasant surprise.
If only the rest of GB News' output was this sane and impartial. They'd probably have more viewers and maybe even turn a decent profit.

Who's the clown saying that the more regulation that we have, the more trust we have in the press!!! What a fool / stooge! So I take it that if we have a completely regulated press like China or North Korea, we would trust the press more?! What a buffoon / elitist. Yes, we would trust it more, because we would have no effing choice! Equally, his argument collapses completely, because the broadcast press is ALSO hated / mistrusted!
John's show is without any doubt an outstanding GB News triumph! More, more, more ..!
