  1. That’s so hard seeing Rip hurting. Can’t imagine what it’s like for you. So relieved that he’s doing better. Prayers that he’s getting back to 100%.

  3. Could be something he's eating in the pasture. What are the yellow flower plant in the pasture? They look like buttercup. They can make a horse sick, even colicky.

  4. Hey Meredith, I hope Rip is doing better by the time you read this. For us, We lost our Ellie last week. Granted she was 29 years old, But really did not have many issue's to speak of. Ellie was fine one day and gone the next. Our Vet thinks she might of had a Stroke, She lost all movement in her rear end and We were not going to make her suffer. She is now with all her buddies from our farm we have lost in the past. So I really hope Rip is better than good this morning.
Enjoyed your video, Thanks for sharing.

  5. I can promise you if I get sick I'll have them airlift me to your farm so you can take care of me. I'm retired from medical profession and if every healthcare professional had your attitude toward sick human beings I would've been out of a job. How nice would that be. You, my dear, are one special lady.

  6. 17:02 did you ever think you’d say the words β€œI’d like to see more poop” and honestly mean it? πŸ˜‚ It is so hard when our animals are sick! I agree with you when you said you wish they could talk… that makes it so tough to not know what is bothering them!

  7. I can certainly sympathize with you regarding the sick horse. It's hard to think of anything else when our beloved horses are sick. We live in Ohio and are transporting one of our horses to Lexington KY today for cancer surgery. Your video was a good diversion for me. It's nice to know I am not the only one trying to hold back tears, when they aren't well. You did good Meredith. I hope Rip is doing well now. Love your videos. Take care!

  12. Thanks for sharing the video Meredith. Glad Lawrence is done with barley. So sorry Rip has been sick. Glad he's doing better. He's a good young horse. Boy ole Hank is looking good and is definitely a different horse. Y'all take care.

  13. I can't tell you how long I've debated with myself about sending this comment or just stop watching your channel. I'm very serious and my comments are not meant to be mean in any way, although there's a good chance that's not how they will be received. I've watched you for quite some time now and it's concerning enough to me to finally say something. I've notice every time there is footage of your children, they never appear happy to be on camera. I hope I'm wrong as can be, but could not wait any longer to say something. If you fine this hurtful I'm very sorry, and I really mean that, because that was not the intent.
