We can create jobs and get people into shape and solve any energy crisis we might be experiencing.all you have to do is put every human on treadmills that don't have a job so they will charge batteries and put energy back into the system.start all of us at a young age and so many hours a day we all walk on treadmills and create energy.thier job is to make a positive electrical grind for humanity.we get healthy and free energy.the more you move the more you get paid.what else are we going to do if robots are doing everything else better.a robot cannot make energy better than a living creature because they take electricity to move.
Another concern is – what happens if the AI software becomes sentient, self-aware, conscious, and start making its own decision, regardless of what humans told it to do. One of the basic need of sentient beings is self-preservation, how to survive and stay alive. If humans ever tells the machine to shut down, and the machine decides that self-preservation is priority, the machine may reach the conclusion that these humans are a threat, and it may take action to mitigate this threat.
Well…sounds like quite the Ouroboros cycle of greed to me. I’m a bit surprised at the Tim Gurner-ish take on unmotivated employees being the catalyst for Ai taking jobs lol. Considering the level of strain placed on the middle class and below over the last 30 years…yikes. This all boils down to greed. I mean let’s keep it a buck. Profits over people with a scary caveat of “what does this mean”. I like how you said customers ultimately pay employees, makes you wonder what happens when said customers can’t afford it, that subscription, or product/service because they were laid off due to automation. Just as jobs will go away, I suspect a lot of business will fall by the wayside as well
I’m optimistic tho. I think the solution may begin with those pesky fundamentalist holding humanity back getting out of the way. The “your patent violates the laws of physics” crowd has probably done more harm than good for the human race and it’s absurd that we collectively still tolerate it.
