  1. What on money pit Earth? Why do they keep digging in this one spot to no avail? They could have opened a real mine somewhere that actually makes money, I simply do not understand.

  3. Very skeptical, why? with all the water that is present how would 17th century or earlier people have been able to dig a tunnel at that depth with those conditions?

  5. The interesting part is the scientific testing on the dates of the wood found in the tunnels and the swamp area and the various metal objects and coins from Europe are providing new information to the archeological community about early European visits to North America.

  6. I'm More interested in the historical aspect of discovery other than treasure. If it could be proved that possible Templar or Viking visitations were here, that swould rewrite history. That would be better than Spanish pieces of eight.

  7. I am beginning to think the history channel is "milking" this for as many shows as possible. It is for the ad money only. We skip through the show watching only interesting parts. Ten to fifteen minutes is all it takes to see all that is interesting.

  8. I believe that initially, everyone wanted these brothers to unearth enormous amounts of gold and gems! Then, when they began to find these prehistoric megolithic structuresโ€”such as the Stone Road, Snake Boulder Mounds, drainage systems, waterways, and the fact that the entire northeastern portion of Oak Island was an ancient add-on harborโ€”I started to get enlightened about history.
