  1. In building the world Trade center they had to wall off the area for flooding , couldn't something like that be done.
Somewhere in lower Manhattan a ship was found long buried deep underground.
If it was walled off then they could excavate the whole area.
Think a simple test to find out if the soil is microbic ir antibiotic . That could help determine if anything would be in one piece. Are they finding sea water or sweet water?

  3. A 2007 study of glacial till deposits across Nova Scotia, Oak Island is a glacial till deposit called a Drumlin, found gold in 16 of 25 (64%) 10 kg samples. It would be an anomaly if the Oak Island digs actually failed to find gold grains. The very small gold concentrations are simply gold scraped from the rock and soils by the advancing glaciers and dumped when the glaciers began to retreat.

  4. Iridium and Titanium are interesting, this is a history lesson around the world in 180 days. Meteorites, Derien Gap, the French, Iridium black…

An iridium–platinum alloy was used for the touch holes or vent pieces of cannon. According to a report of the Paris Exhibition of 1867, one of the pieces being exhibited by Johnson and Matthey "has been used in a Whitworth gun for more than 3000 rounds, and scarcely shows signs of wear yet. Those who know the constant trouble and expense which are occasioned by the wearing of the vent-pieces of cannon when in active service, will appreciate this important adaptation".[104]

The pigment iridium black, which consists of very finely divided iridium, is used for painting porcelain an intense black; it was said that "all other porcelain black colors appear grey by the side of it".[105]
