  1. The Oak island drinking game: Do a shot when the dude gets up out of the excavator, the other dude says mate, when they find a piece of garbage and claim it is an amazing find, or when everybody repeats the same sentence and the narrator summarizes it again.

  2. What bugs me is a few years back in the show trailer they showed a large round deep hole then a man in front of huge wood doors what was that about was that to draw you in or did they already find the treasure

  3. The next time anyone addresses me as "mate" in life I promise to correct them and direct them to call me by my name. Gary appears to be absolutely committed to not improve his interpersonal skills for addressing people by their name. Producers should inform him it's simply bad etiquette.

  4. I really love the show, I really do!
But You know what I would like? I would like Captain Obvious! (Robert Clotworthy) to shut up!!! It's really getting to be to much. He is much better on ancient aliens. I end up recording the show and fast forwarding through the commentary bullcrap!
    Am I alone here?
Other than that the show is awesome!

  5. We love the show! If you just want to see them pulling out gold from every borehole then it is not the show for you. When do you ever get to see an excavation? Now, you can. You have to see the whole process to appreciate it. You learn a lot of history and see interesting staff. Hopefully they find treasure at some point! The show is among the most interesting shows we have ever seen.

  6. I'm really disappointed in myself that I've watched this show for years and yet every Tuesday I tune in to see if they have found anything.

Its almost like going to a casino expecting to win and leaving with nothing !

Plus that dude with the metal detector and Australian accent…
He's a nice guy but I think they have to bring him back to the local mental ward after shooting each episode.

But I'm starting to wonder if there is any treasure at all.

You gotta be realistic…how and why would pirates or anyone dig down approx. 200 feet down and set up booby traps. Alot of work for the time Era…

I'm getting disappointed that this will end up being a disappointment.

But I'll continue to watch and hope I'm wrong.
