  1. so the universe that got cronenburg by our rickiest rick (c-137) is the universe of prime rick since we saw a capsule where our rick saw in a episode where he hunting down prime rick and that capsule contains the real prime rick (our rick got fooled and he thought it just a clone) that is butt naked dancing in front of our rick.

  2. A série teve um baixo nessas temporadas, acho que o Justin R. Tinha um foco maior sobre a série, parece que realmente sofreu impacto, porém acredito que só precisa de alguém com aquela alta perspectiva e senso crítico que era o que Justin parecia ter..

  3. Rick is the smartest man in the universe yet he doesen't know to put some calcium carbonate in the hole to make bodies decay faster… It's a common knowledge if you don't want a smelly corpse in your backyard…

  4. To be fair, you have to have a
very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from
Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just
imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens.
What fools. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it.
It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

  5. The sheer nihilism of this show hits a little too hard for me. Rick can very clearly save the world with the cure from the new world he moves to, but he doesn't. Because he can live in a functionally identical world with less effort he just does that instead, because, for him, it's the same outcome – all these people only matter in as much as the background they provide, but they have no value within themselves and are replaceable with no issues. That theme gets iterated on a lot, that characters have no moral worth, or narrative significance, and it's all a pointless joyride… and while I can enjoy the fun of watching the show I can't invest into the characters. No one ever really cares about losing anyone else, making all the relationships we see totally hollow and meaningless. I know it's a running gag of the show for characters to no sell these losses, and it's a funny gag, but it also subverts all the relationships. Beth's reaction to learning about her father and son being buried in the yard sums it up.
