What is a cosmic entity? A being of immense power capable of altering reality? One with a direct connection to the supreme DC god, the creator of all things? What is the true definition of a cosmic entity? Beings fundamental to the life or anti-life of the universe?

DC does not have a well-defined hierarchy of entities, so you will see some conflicts, such as various entities responsible for creating universes or entities representing time, and so on. All of this is still very confusing in comics, whether from Marvel or DC Comics; these concepts vary greatly from writer to writer.

Today, I attempted to gather the main and most powerful cosmic entities of DC Comics that I have knowledge of, and I’ll rank them from the most common to the most powerful and important for the functionality or destruction of the DC multiverse. I made a video about this for Marvel, explaining all the entities and how the Marvel universe was created and modified by each of these entities, and I also explained their roles within it.

  1. Myxy once said that he wouldn't mess with Dr. Manhattan, why is he after Manhattan in this list? Is it not a list sorted by power level? Myxy should have been before Dr. Manhattan if so.

  2. Sorry for saying this, but this list is not correct at all, you are calling the "endless" pepertuals and calling the "upside down man" the reverse man. Even the order of the hierarchy is so wrong. And how did you get the info about Pralaya stronger and more powerful than the Presence. The Presence is no 1. you didn't even mention the Leviathan etc.

  3. Artista immenso … Servono opere per rivoluzionare questi personaggi ! I personaggi hanno un bisogno disperato di essere innalzati alle altezze che competono loro … La cultura deve essere tutelata per Legge !

  4. This felt like a trip to the psychosis' of the DC writers caused every possible psychedelic drug. Like eating philosophical ideas and shitting incomprehensible nonsense they can draw on a comic caused by LSD, MDM pills and ecstasy taken with gulp of vicodin.

  5. Pralaya is DC comics version of Oblivion. If or When all of creation ceases to be, Pralaya will be all that's left. She is not only the embodiment or personification of nothingness… But she/he/it is nothingness…the absence of creation.
