What was that one game you grew up with that you played CONSTANTLY and couldn't get enough of the soundtrack?? Best ones might get a video…
Descent 2 was that game for me
I'm fascinated by the fact you dissected the songs and their harmony so accurately. Never in a million years could I find out where the notes go. Up to this point, I never thought of where they would be on a keyboard. I thought it was just organized chaos that just sounded so good. (Shows what I know about making music.)
NFS II and NFS III HP hold a forever place in my heart. ome of the best, repayable, early graphics games out there. I use to spend hours playing them on my Windows 98 WITH no sort of high end graphics cards. (I see where I went wrong, now able to play them on a high end PC.) But like we've seen, the soundtracks SLAP so hard, its insane. Rom Di Prisco for NFS3 is under rated, but arguably out of time. Yet still slaps just as hard. And all the artists of NFS2 KNEW how to make a killer soundtrack and keep it timeless!
I want the engine transcripts
Please can you make a video on Hazbin Hotel.😅
The game for me: Deus Ex (2000)!!!! Incredible ambient background music
My favourite thing might be watching people react to their childhood video games.
Please do Toejam & Earl!
Acclaim´s horror adventure ''Bad Mojo'' from 1996 has a real trippy, dark and hard to get a grip on soundtrack that i really think you should take a look at!
Sorry Charles but best 1997 game soundtrack award goes to Interstate '76
Does anyone know if the tracks are on Spotify?
Can't believe you're doing a video on nfs2! Love this soundtrack and always come back to it.
RIP Saki Kaskas
Please look at some of the music from Saltburn!
Do NFS3 next!! I still remember buying my PC copy in 1999 at CompUSA… Played it soooo much.
Street Fighter II and Starfox BGM
NFS2 and 3 were both great. Then we had Flat Out 2 with an outstanding soundtrack and can we just not forget Need For Speed Underground 2? When you mentioned how much fun you had driving around in a t-rex or toilet stall. I had so many good memories popping up with my friends and my brother. We had so much fun with NFS2. It's hard to put into words.
Dude your passion and enthusiasm specifically in this video is so palpable I'd damn near call it tangible. At least I'm convinced that I can feel it. Love it!
The MechWarrior 2 Mercenaries soundtrack was my favorite album for a long time. Jeehun Hwang made a really great set of songs for it!
Aceeeed
NFS Porsche
NFS hot pursuit 2
pllease do a video about sidepocket (Super nintendo) soundtrack
Please tell me that he's experienced the Ridge Racer 4 OST…
Racing game soundtracks just HIT for some wild reason. Beetle Adventure Racing!! Daytona USA!!!
09:32 In this section I am absolutely convinced that it is an "homage" to the main theme of the 80's television series, "Knight Rider".
In the game you drive a black car in the dark of night, a McLaren F1, in the TV series, KITT is also a car of the same color, but it is based on a third generation Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am V8 from 1982.
NEED FOR SPEED II, AWESOME MUSIC, LEGENDARY VIDEO GAME!!!
I believe that cowboy logo was in the Wii game "Red Steel 2" if I'm not mistaken
you should react/listen to macroblank and oblique occasions fr. highly recommend. also nice video 🙂
McLaren F1 for the win!! Alway been my favorite super car by far! 240+mph, sitting in the middle of the car, amazing curves! Man that car is so sick! Most of my dream cars are old muscle cars, but that's sorta my only dream super car.
We need more retro music reviews of earlies 90's videogames, i would like to propose the Unreal Tournament Series and Road Rage, also the classic Jet Set Radio.
You need to review R4 (Ridge Race Type 4)
Charles, I know you probably have a queue of music and artist you are reviewing but you should check out Cody Fry; he’s an amazing composer / artist. Also, you should review the ending credit song for Incredibles 2.
I grew up on NFS 3. I didn’t even know what need for speed was until Underground hit.
Nothing hit me like the music in that and Ridge Racer 4. I hated how everything was going into rock music back then. Nostalgic now but still prefer the mystical menu music.
Charles! I did not know you were a car guy! I would love to see videos about the musicality of car engines!!
I had this and loved it. Also Test Drive Off Road.
yeah, "headless horse" was one the best of all time game OST songs ever
Amazing video… so much nostalgia. Thank you for making this video
Oh, you want engine sounds? Sounds like you need to get in contact with AngeTheGreat.
I still jam to some of these tracks in my head sometimes, especially ther "car showoff" tracks. Love this OST.
Oh. My. God! This is the most wonderful random video that I've seen period! I grew up playing that game and that too is what led me to love cars just like you! Oh man, you made my day. Thank you.
+1 for a car video.. gasoline's only gonna be around so much longer
The menu music is an absolute banger
