Common mistake re 2 events and re 3 events ain’t happening simultaneously. First came Re 3 since there are still activities in the city like evacuation and such and re 2 happens when everybody is either out or dead. However there’s an overlap. When Jill passes out is when Re 2 remake starts.
I'd be so happy if they do away Ethan Winters for good. The only characters who truly matter in Resident Evil are…Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, and Ada. They are "the Avengers" of Resident Evil.

Re4 through 6 might be convoluted but at least they were resident evil and not a castlevania wannabe clone. No one likes Ethan no one likes this castlevania story and we all want this cheesy, science horror to return.
