The Complete History Of Walt Disney World, Part 1 (1960s-1996)

Welcome to Timekeeping. Over a year ago, WDWNT set out to document the year-by-year history of the Walt Disney World Resort. From the opening of a new land, to the minutiae of a store changing names. 50 episodes later, we have consolidated the highlights of these videos into two parts. This is part 1, which focuses on the complete history of Walt Disney World from the 1960s-1996 (the 25th anniversary).

  1. When I first saw this video, I was like “Wait didn’t Timekeeping for WDW end with 2021?” Then I looked at the title, and the thumbnail more closely, and I was like “Oh, from the 1960s to 1996.”

  2. A salute to all theme parks but mostly Walt Disney World, it's a glorious four-hour finale (part 1) …seriously though, this is great, so many nice memories in here

  3. I like that in the early years, Woke Pedo World and company wasn’t such a woke left wing nut organization filled with angry hateful intolerant democrats pushing their leftist ideology back when the company and parks were great and there was diversity of thought in the company. Not just angry hateful intolerant democrats who hate anyone that’s not nuts like they are.

  4. I'm such a hypocrite. I won't go to the theater for any movie over 2 hours long, but I'll sit here and watch 4.5 hours of WDW history knowing that this is only PART ONE with 4.5 more hours of content to go.

  5. Longest Youtube video I've ever watched front to back, this is an incredible undertaking. What's the total time spent on this project (if you can even estimate)? It's probably the most comprehensive source of WDW info I've ever seen consolidated into a single video. Is there anything else that approaches this depth out there?
