  1. This was great! Love these Analysis from you and BeserkDude.

5:48 you said the only safe haven in the world is Valconia and the Seahorse with our Chad Roderick, but I recall Slad saying he and his people have a place in the mountains where they are safe away from fantastical beasts and are trained killers.

  2. A masterful analysis which covers a wide range of topics that are displayed in the Fantasia arc! Your in-depth knowledge of Miura’s work is shown when highlighting character development, art style and philosophical considerations on suffering and meaning.

During my watch I relived reading some chapters for the first time or heard and saw interesting details that I never picked up on. It showed me that Berserk has so much lessons, laughter and inspiration left for me to reap from.

The delivery is executed amazingly, from letting the music and manga panel work their magic, to dropping facts and puns with impeccable comedic timing. All I can say is thank you!

From part 7 I noticed a great increase in audio quality, did you get a new microphone around that time?

To close off, I read that the Dutch artist M.C. Escher was an inspiration to Miura. If you look up the works called ‘Relativity’ and ‘Another world II’ I am sure the attentive reader will recognise these works in some manga panels.

  3. So I saw the 1997 anime like 20 years ago i think or smth and i was like "okay that's the end" and I was okay with it. I NEVER READ the manga, and never ever read a single manga before prior to it. Now I read 200 chapters straight past week and i finished to the last chapter 371. Then I looked up how long it takes for these releases and Im happy I didnt have to suffer like so many other wondering when the F** Casca gonna wake up etc. (SPOILER ALERT) Now all i gotta do is to wait for Guts to save her and i guess that will take 10+ years? lol

  4. This is something like the fourth or fifth time I see these videos, and I like them as always.
And as always I found a new piece of this wonderfull manga:
Did you notice and think about the fact that the corridor of dreams operation take place on some big ass mushrooms? And the important fact isn't its forms and the Casca's trauma, but the important point is that the girls are surrounded by glowing spores, so the corridor of dreams is basically an Hallucinogenic experiences, a wild wild trip caused by those huge mushrooms 😮

  5. Really love the manga analysis you did for Berserk Ryan, it's what made me subscribe to your channel back when you had barely 1k subscribers. Will you produce more content like this for your Patreon? I imagine it's a no-starter on youtube these days.

  6. I have a theory about the Rickert-Silat-Daiba team-up. I can totally imagine that Rickert and Silat makes the rocket launcher into perfection and arm an entire army of penguins with those rockets and Daiba charges them into Falconia with his black magic.
