Here's my prediction on the Netflix's Castlevania series.
After Castlevania: Nocturne which takes place in Richter Belmont's era, the next Castlevania anime(Plan A) will take place in the Portrait of Ruin era of Jonathan and Charlotte. Or take the Plan B: a Castlevania anime that takes place in the era of Aria and Dawn of Sorrow.
You really think Konami would make another Castlevania game by now seeing how popular the Netflix series is. I'm still waiting over 20 years for the Demon Castle War of 1999 that teased in Castlevania AOS in 2003.
So they do not say how Dracula became a vampire?
Well, in the meantime, we'll just keep replaying Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania to get our fix. Otherwise, there are PLENTY of other indie game Metroidvanias out there to satisfy the itch as well!

The Morrises and Van Helsings have Belmont ties as far back as Ralph/Trevor and Sypha’s children and children-in-laws Frederick (w/ Janis), Mary (w/ Leo Van Helsing), and Ann (w/ Royde/Lloyd Morris).
