The actress reflects on playing the iconic role of Nettie after admiring the movie since she was a child. She opens up about how she’s learned from the cast including Taraji P. Henson and Fantasia Barrino, and if she and Ciara, who plays the older version of Nettie, got a chance to bond on set. Plus, Halle shares how much she misses spending time with her older sister, Chlöe, after always being ‘conjoined at the hip.’
