Russell Brand is an English comedian, actor, podcaster, and commentator. He first established himself as a stand up comedian and radio host before becoming a film actor. He presented for MTV UK and made appearances across media and TV throughout the 2000’s. In 2008, he leapt from British to U.S. film acting, appearing in the hit film “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” followed by numerous international successes. In 2013, Brand guest-edited an edition of the weekly publication the New Statesman, launching his interest and later career as a political activist and commentator. His current podcast, Stay Free, sees Brand calling out major news, governments, and corporations for affronts to free speech, expression, spirituality, and thought.

on 44mins, Russel you speak about how your religion should not be the rod that you use to govern others but you also speak about how it should inform the way you live. What then if you are in a position of leadership? Or am I misunderstanding your viewpoint? It stands to reason to me that, if my religion is a good basis for how I conduct myself in my private life, it should have good fruit in how one governs one's area of influence too?

Sacrifice is the basis of life, from genetic mutations to a lioness defending her cubs to the death, all for the greater good, love, survival and adaptation. Jesus talks about spiritual death, and to born again(we do a sacrifice) .His sacrifice and his way of living are the path to a more dignified or better life that seeks a greater good, survival and better adaptation . Jesus says "I am the way and the truth and the life" . The world is based on the same principles in the material and spiritual world, all is aroud the sacrifice. All is gods creation.
Love and Faith are essential to knowing Christ, and knowing Him is knowing God, thus our purpose in life is revealed. You've been created to love, that is what gives human life any value. God loves us, and we have the capacity to love Him and love each other. Aside from that, it's all smoke and mirrors…Read the Bible, it all points to Jesus as the embodiment of this reality. I hope everyone embraced their limitedness and trust in Jesus, he will help you carry any burden you can't by yourself.
