Even with Caleb Williams the Bears are a mess. The Bears fired their offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. head coach Matt Eberflus should be fired next. Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Jayden Daniels are out playing Caleb Williams. Can the Chicago Bears be saved?

  1. Bears play book. Fire staff and hire some weird head coach. Ignore o-line. Draft generational talent or trade five years of draft capital for a rocket arm. New QB sets all-time records!!! For taking sacks. New QB visits ER frequently. Fire staff. Ignore o-line. Rinse and repeat. I FEEL LIKE I'm TAKING KRAZY PILLS!!!

  2. I mean. At a certain point you have to think maybe the scouting department is the issue. Trubiski is just. I mean cmon. We all saw it. Justin fields is not a starting qb who you can give the keys too. Thats why Russell Wilson is starting over him. Caleb Williams looked good against low quality college kids but looked as bad as like 99.99% of every football comment section would look going up against talented college players. There’s an almost 0% chance that you can “fail” 3 blue chip qb prospects in a row this bad.

And to that bears fan in the video who thinks playing a bad defense doesn’t make you more accurate or have better timing you’re just dumb. The widows to make throws are MUCH bigger when you’re playing against a bad defense because the players are bad which means the coverage is bad. Your timing is better when you don’t have to worry about pressure and can confidently go through your progressions. I mean seriously perna how much did that dude pay you to get on the show? I’ll give you double just for a ten second text screen apologizing for that ridiculous take.

  3. Devils advocate here. The Mcaskeys dont want to manage a football franchise. They care and interfere with the marketing optics of the franchise which any owner would do. I think firing everyone in the building and giving Bill Belichick the front office and coaching duties like he had at New England would actually fit how the Mcaskeys have run the franchise. They are just too full of themselves to hire bill also he cheated is another reason.

  4. Sadly even a Kliff hire wouldn't have changed the trajectory of the Bears this season. We saw an issue with his play calling on Thursday when he failed to move their best receiver to have a more advantageous receiver difference, and similarly to Waldron, he does not like to change plays that are not working quite as well. I think of routing trees he needed to cut from the Cardinals because Kyler could not hit them quite as easily but he forced the ball to those spots and then they had a lucky Christian Kirk season to show Kyler actually could throw the deep ball. But the deep ball is something we haven't seen this year from the Cards and yet they're winning.

Either way, Eberflus needs to go. While there isn't any discussions of college coaches rising up to the NFL, I think a potential (maybe underrated) choice (if available) is Mario Cristobal of the Miami Hurricanes. His offense averages over 500 yards a game and he is a former offensive tackle, which means he may have a better eye for OL talent than Ryan Poles has. Heck, he at least knows how to keep his QB safe as Cam Ward took 40 and 38 sacks in his two years at WSU, while he's only taken 20 thus far in his year at Miami. Of course, this would take them firing Eberflus before the end of the season and starting talks already.

  5. The Bears have somehow lucked and/or tanked their way to multiple golden opportunities at drafting their choice QB.
Meanwhile, the Vikings are another team that has never ever been in position to draft the first overall QB, and is currently starting the Jets' failed 3rd overall pick after dropping our franchise QB and seeing the QB we did draft this year suffer a season-ruining injury.

That former failed Jets QB is outperforming Caleb Williams by a wiiiiiiide margin.
